2 STUDYING AND SETTLING IN QUÉBEC: A WINNING COMBINATION Québec is looking for talent. With the Programme de l expérience québécoise (PEQ Québec experience program), you can obtain your Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ Québec selection certificate) quickly and easily. With the PEQ: you get a head start embarking on your new life in Québec; your application is fast-tracked and there is no interview; you will receive your CSQ quickly 1. 1 Your CSQ will be issued upon presentation of your diploma or attestation of successful completion and your final transcript.

3 CONDITIONS TO BE MET: 1. You have respected the conditions of your stay and you are in the process of obtaining or have already obtained one of the following Québec diplomas: Diplôme d études professionnelles (DEP Diploma of vocational studies) attesting to at least 1,800 hours of training DEP followed by an Attestation de spécialisation professionnelle (ASP Attestation of vocational specialization) attesting to 1,800 hours of training or more and leading to a particular trade Diplôme d études collégiales (DEC Diploma of college studies) in technical training Bachelor s degree, Master s degree or Doctorate Your attestation of completion or diploma must be granted by a university or by a public or private educational institution located in Québec and recognized by the Ministère de l Éducation, de l Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche. Your application must be submitted within 36 months following the end of your study program.

4 2. You speak advanced intermediate French. You must demonstrate this with one of the following: you successfully completed a study program eligible under the PEQ, entirely in French, in Québec; you successfully completed at least three years of full-time study, entirely in French, in a secondary or post-secondary educational institution; you successfully completed an advanced intermediate French course in Québec, given by an educational institution recognized by the Ministère de l Éducation, de l Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche; you passed a French test or obtained a French diploma recognized by the Ministère de l Immigration de la Diverstié et de l Inclusion, proving that you have advanced intermediate knowledge of oral French; you satisfied the language requirements of a professional order in Québec. You are not eligible for the PEQ if you have a scholarship that contains a clause stipulating that you must return to your country of origin or if you have started a new study program.
