3 Programs Offered College of Nursing Texila provides a professional nursing education that incorporates concepts and theories from the humanities and social, natural and behavioral sciences throughout the curriculum. Our Nursing program core base is the research done by the field leader about scarcity of Nursing Professional at developed countries. After completion of the required course work, students will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) which allows him/her to continue his Nursing Practice in US. Our syllabus prepares general practitioners with the knowledge, skills, leadership abilities, values and competencies commensurate with roles of professional nursing practice. Partnership with University of West England UK TAU ON-CAMPUS PROGRAM University of West England is a university based in the British city of Bristol. TAU prepares and facilitates program on requirement with regard to Nursing. In collaboration with UWE, TAU delivers the program in a unique basis (ie) first two years the student will be at TAU, Guyana and the remaining two years at University of West England, UK. Students of TAU nursing program can nd transfer their credits to UWE in UK into 2 year of their nursing program and be eligible to practice as nurse in UK. Bachelor of Science in Nursing The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program offers students a dynamic course of study that is both theoretical and practical. The program is designed on the basis of requirement of professional at developed and developing economy. Eligibility µ Students from High School will undergo a 4 year, as we run 3 semester a year. µ Students from A level or Higher Secondary schooling with the last 2 years focusing on subjects in Biology and Chemistry will skip the two semester of the BSN nursing program.

4 Advanced Standing Nursing Program (ASN) Texila American University has a continuing commitment to assist the registered nurses in attaining the baccalaureate degree. This program is also called RN-BSN conversion program. This program is for already registered nurses who would like to further their knowledge and upgrade themselves. Students will be provided training on CGFNS exam. CGFNS protects the public by ensuring that nurses and other health care professionals educated in countries outside US are eligible to meet licensure, immigration and other practice requirements in the US. All RN Students will have the opportunity to receive advanced placement credit upon completion of specific courses. TAU also provides training for NCLEX exams its in built with the curriculum. NCLEX exams is conducted by National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). Eligibility µ Nurses with Registered Nursing Certification. µ Completed a 3 year diploma in Nursing µ Completion of the Associate of Bachelors in Nursing.
