1 California and Oregon/Washington IFP and Group Plans Pam White Health Net Manage Your Broker Account Online Create Sub-Accounts for Your Associates Making it easy to do business with Health Net Broker registration If you are not already registered, follow these steps to begin the process: 1. Select the Register Now and I m a Broker option from the upper right-hand menu option, then select your state. 2. The Terms of Use page will be displayed. To continue, check the I Accept box and select Continue. 3. Follow the instructions on the Broker Registration Form page to complete your registration. Manage your broker accounts/sub-accounts If you are already a registered broker, follow these steps to log in and begin setting up your sub-accounts. 1. Go to and click on the Log In option located in the upper right-hand corner.

2 2. Enter your user name and click the Submit button, then do the same with your password. 3. Confirm the Sign-In Seal, enter your password and click on the Submit button. Note: You must select a sign-in seal If you do not select a sign-in seal, then you will not have full working access. 4. Once logged in, you will be taken to the Broker Portal home page. Click on Manage Accounts in the left navigation bar. 5. From the sub-menu, select Manage Broker Accounts.

3 6. You will then be on the Manage Broker Accounts page, and you will see existing web accounts and have the ability to create a new account. 7. To create a new user, click on the Create User button. 8. Complete the new user information, and be sure to include an address, which is key for secure messaging. Note: It is not required for the sub-account user to maintain a license from the insurance department in your state You may decide to enter the firm s information here. Also, the encrypted system will ask the new user for the license and expiration in order to retrieve his or her user name and temporary password. Please use the same license and expiration date used above.

4 9. After creating the new user, you will get a confirmation screen, where you will see the associate s information and be able to delegate access to specific roles, as shown below. The system default will deny the roles. You can then click on Update to be routed back to the Manage Broker Accounts page. 10. The new user will receive an encrypted , as shown below, to access his or her user name and password. It is very important to read the encrypted thoroughly to understand the next set of instructions.

5 Within the , there will be two links: The first link goes to the Broker Portal home page, where the new user will enter his or her user name and password once they get them Don t click this link yet. The second link is the Internet Explorer icon at the bottom of the The new user needs to click on this link first, where they will be asked to provide the DOI license number and last two digits of the expiration year, to obtain his or her user name and password. Note: After clicking on the Internet Explorer icon, you may get a different window first, as seen below, asking you to click on a yellow bar at the top of the page, which is a security feature restricting access to the next window Follow the instructions to get to the user name and password. Once the DOI license number and last two digits of the expiration year have been entered, the new user s user name and password will be displayed.

Once the new user has his or her user name and password, then they can click on the first link in the encrypted to go to the Broker Portal home page, enter the user name and password, and log in.
