1 WHITELIST INSTRUCTIONS Since your ISP (internet service provider) probably uses a spam filter, we request that you add FMG University to your list of trusted senders, your contacts, and your address book. This is known as whitelisting. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS WHITELISTING FMG UNIVERSITY S If you don t see from FMG University in your inbox, it s probably due to overzealous filtering by your ISP that, mistakenly, is sending it to your Spam folder. You need to manually whitelist FMG University in your spam filter. 1. Open your spam folder. 2. Look for the FMG University welcome Open the Mark it as "Not Spam". 2 Page 2 of 13 ISP INSTRUCTIONS AOL - top To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your AOL inbox, you must add our address to your address book or Custom Sender list. 1. Click the "Spam Controls" link on the lower right side of your inbox screen. 2. In the "Mail & Spam Controls" box, click "Custom Sender List". 3. Click "Allow from Sender". 4. Click "Add". 5. Click "Save". AOL WEB MAIL - top To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your AOL web mail inbox, reply to an from FMG University. Doing this will automatically whitelist us. From that point forward, our s will be delivered straight to your inbox. AT&T - top To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your AT&T inbox, do the following: 1. Open an FMG University Click on the "Save Address" link next to the "From Address. 3. Check the "Add to Contacts" box and click "Save. COMCAST - top To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your Comcast inbox, do the following: 1. Open an FMG University Click on the Save Address link at the top, next to the From address. 3. For the First Name field, enter FMG University. 4. Click Save Entry. EARTHLINK - top To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your Earthlink inbox, there are 2 things you can do: T AKE FMG OUT OF THE SUSPECT EM AIL FOLDER With Earthlink, if you have SpamBlocker turned on, suspect messages are automatically send to your Suspect folder if the domain is not in your address book. You need to take FMG University out of that folder. 1. Check your "Suspect " folder to see if FMG University is in there. 2. Select the "Move to Inbox and Add Contact" option from the pull down menu. 3. This will add [email protected] to your Address Book to ensure future delivery

3 Page 3 of 13 ADD FMG UNIVERSITY DIRECTLY TO YOUR EARTHLINK ADDRESS BOOK 1. Open an FMG University Click "Add to Address Book" in the header. 3. Use the "Address Book Editor" to verify the FMG University contact details and click "Save". 4. Fill in [email protected] as the Address of the Sender. 5. All sent with the same domain (the words to the right of sign) will now be delivered to your Inbox. GMAIL - top To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your Gmail inbox, you must add the address [email protected] to your contacts list. 1. Click the drop down arrow next to "Reply" in the upper right side of your inbox screen. 2. Click the "Add FMG University to Contacts List" from the list that appears. 3. You will now see FMG University appear under the link "Contacts" on the left side of the page. 4. Click the link "Contacts" and the in the "Search Contacts" form field. 5. Now you can select to move FMG University to a contact list of choice and edit any details. HOTMAIL LIVE, WINDOW S LIVE, AND MSN - top In the new Hotmail/ Windows Live/ MSN, you must "Mark sender As Safe" to enable hyperlinks (yes, even in text s) and images in HTML s. Entering the contact, in the address book or contacts, no longer whitelists the sender. To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your Hotmail/ Windows Live/ MSN inbox and are not sent to your Junk folder there are 2 things you can do: MARK FMG UNIVERSITY AS SAFE 1. If you do not see the s from FMG University in your inbox, check your "Junk" folder. 2. Open an from FMG University. At the top it will look something like this below: Attachments, pictures, and links in this message have been blocked for your safety. Show content FMG University [email protected] - s from FMG University From: [email protected] You may not know this sender. Mark as safe Mark as unsafe Sent: Thu 6/14/07 12:00 AM Reply-to: [email protected]

4 Page 4 of Click "Show content" to view the body of the , if it contains images and HTML. 4. Click the "Mark as safe" link. MANUALL Y ADD TO SAFE LIST 1. Click "Options" in the upper right corner of your Hotmail screen. 2. In the Body of the page under "Junk " click the link "Safe and blocked senders". 3. Click the link "Safe senders". 4. Enter the address [email protected]. 5. Click "Add to list". 6. FMG University will now be added to your "Safe Senders" list. YAHOO! MAIL - top To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your Yahoo inbox, there are 2 things you can do: MARK THE EM AIL AS NOT SPAM Click the "Not Spam" button in your Bulk folder. 1. Check your Yahoo! Bulk folder. 2. If you see an from FMG University, highlight it and click "Not Spam". 3. This does not guarantee that your mail will be delivered in the future AND it does help. CREATE A FILTER Create a filter to automatically send FMG University s to your inbox. This is the only way to really ensure delivery. 1. Click "Options" in the top right navigation bar. 2. Select "Mail Options" from the drop down list. 3. Choose "Filters" located on the left side of the page. 4. Click the "Add" button on the Filters page. 5. Choose the field you want to match in the incoming message (e.g. "header" or "to"). 6. Choose the aspect by which you want to make your match (e.g. "contains"). 7. Enter the text string to compare (e.g. [ s from FMG University] from FMG University). 8. Choose the destination folder to which you would like the message delivered (e.g. Inbox ).

5 Page 5 of 13 CLIENT INSTRUCTIONS BLACKBERRYS - top To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your Blackberry s inbox, do the following: 1. Open an FMG University In the header, find the FMG University name and click the Berry button, then click Show Address. 3. Select and copy the [email protected] address to the clipboard. 4. Go into your Address Book, find the right user, then select Save. 5. Click Edit, then click the Berry button to Add Another Address. 6. Paste the [email protected] in and click Save. OUTLOOK 2003 (OR HIGHER) - top Because of the various platforms that can work with Outlook, it is tricky to tell you how to receive all to your Outlook inbox. We can tell you, however, how to make sure you can see your FMG University as they were intended to be seen: with images. Basically, FMG University needs to be in your address book, or "Safe Sender" list, for your HTML images to display. To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your inbox, choose one of the following 3 options: CHANGE OUTLOOK S AUTOM ATIC DOWNLOAD SETTINGS 1. Right-click on a non-displaying image in our HTML Choose "Change automatic download settings" option. 3. When the popup comes up, uncheck the first box in the list that says "don t download pictures or other HTML content automatically. 4. Click "OK". ADD FMG UNIVERSITY (T HE SENDER) T O OUTLOOK S ADDRESS BOOK 1. Open an FMG University Right-click on the From address. 3. Choose "Add to Contacts" option. ADD THE FMG UNIVERSITY DOM AIN T O OUTLOOK S SAFE SENDER LIST 1. Right-click on a non-displaying image in an FMG University Choose "Add the domain to the safe sender list" option.

6 Page 6 of 13 THUNDERBIRD (MOZILLA) - top To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your Thunderbird inbox, do the following: 1. Click the Address Book button. 2. Make sure Personal Address Book is highlighted. 3. Click the New Card button. This launches a New Card window that has 3 tabs: Contact, Address, and Other. 4. Under the Contact tab, copy and paste the "From" address, [email protected], into the dialogue box. 5. Click OK.

7 Page 7 of 13 SPAM FILTER INSTRUCTIONS BARRACUDA SPAM FIREW ALL - top Barracuda Spam Firewall there are 2 things you can do: WHITELIST QUARANTINED SENDERS 1. Open your client. Barracuda should send you a summary each day listing quarantined items. Choose the most recent Barracuda message. 2. Locate an from FMG University and our address [email protected]. 3. Click "Whitelist", which is in green print to the right of the title. This will open your Quarantined Senders list in a web browser. 4. Click the box to the left of the FMG University At the top of the page, click "Whitelist". WHITELIST SENDERS AND DOM AINS 1. Open your web browser. 2. Navigate to your company's Barracuda firewall Home page. 3. Click on the "Block/Accept" tab. 4. Choose "Sender Domain Block/Accept". 5. Enter the domain name FMG University. You may enter a comment to remind you why you allowed this domain. 6. Click "Add". CHOIC - top Choic do the following: 1. Open Choic . 2. Click the Senders tab. 3. Choose "Approve Another Sender". 4. Enter [email protected]. 5. Click OK.

8 Page 8 of 13 CLOUDMARK SPAMNET - top Cloudmark SpamNet do the following: 1. Open Outlook. 2. Select Cloudmark Options... from the Cloudmark SpamNet toolbar. 3. Click Advanced. 4. Click the Whitelist tab. 5. Click the Add button. 6. Enter [email protected]. 7. Click OK ; click OK again; click Yes ; then click OK one last time. MAILBLOCKS - top MailBlocks do the following: 1. Click the Addresses tab. 2. Click New. 3. Enter [email protected]. 4. Make sure Accept Mail From This Address is selected under Receiving Options. 5. Uncheck Display in People Picker under Other Options. 6. Click Submit. 7. Click OK. MAILSHIELD - top MailShield do the following: 1. Click Friends in the toolbar.click Add. 2. Enter [email protected]. 3. Click OK.

9 Page 9 of 13 MAILWASHER - top MailWasher do the following: 1. Click Tools. 2. Click Blacklist & Friends. 3. Click Add... on the right-hand Friends list. 4. Make sure Plain address is selected. 5. Enter [email protected]. 6. Click OK, then click OK again. MCAFEE SPAMKILLER - top McAfee do the following: 1. Select Friends from the McAfee SpamKiller sidebar. 2. Click Add A Friend. 3. Make sure All Users At A Domain is selected under Friend Type : 4. Type FMG University under Address: 5. Optionally, enter FMG University under Name: to help you recognize the domain. 6. Click OK, then click OK again. NORTON ANTISPAM - top bbb do the following: 1. Start up Norton AntiSpam. 2. Click the Status & Settings tab. 3. Click AntiSpam. 4. Click Configure. 5. Click the Allowed List tab. 6. Click the Add button. 7. In the Address box, enter [email protected]. 8. Click OK, then click OK again.

10 Page 10 of 13 ODDPOST - top OddPost do the following: 1. Check your Probably Spam folder. 2. If you see an from FMG University, select it. 3. Click the Move to Inbox. 4. Click the Mark as Not Spam button. SPAMASSASSIN - top SpamAssassin do the following: 1. Go to your web/ mail server. 2. Find the.spamassassin subdirectory. 3. Find your user_prefs file. 4. Enter whitelist_from [email protected] (without the quote marks). 5. Save the user_prefs file or move the updated copy to your.spamassassin subdirectory. SPAMBUTCHER - top SpamButcher do the following: 1. Click the Configure button. 2. Go to the Known Senders tab. 3. Click Add under Known Good Senders and Recipients. 4. Enter [email protected]. 5. Click OK, then click OK again. SPAMEATER PRO - top SpamEater Pro do the following: 1. Click Filters in the sidebar. 2. Click the Approved Senders tab. 3. Click Add Filter. 4. Enter [email protected] under Address. 5. Choose Full Address under Address Type. 6. Select Domain. 7. Click OK.

11 Page 11 of 13 SPAMFIGHTER - top SpamFighter there are 2 things you can do: : WHITELIST THE [email protected] EM AIL ADDRESS 1. Highlight an FMG University from with the address [email protected]. 2. Click "More" in the SpamFighter Toolbar and select "Whitelist". 3. Choose if you want to whitelist the specific address [email protected] or all s from the domain FMGUniversity.com. IM PORT AND WHITELIST ALL YOUR CONTACTS IN OUTLOOK 1. Click "More" in the SpamFighter toolbar. 2. Click "Options". 3. Click "Filter settings". 4. Click "Blacklists & Whitelists". 5. Click "Whitelist address". 6. Click "Import". 7. Select your address book and click on "Check All". 8. Click "Add". 9. Click "Apply". NOTE: If you get a pop-up box offering you to upgrade to SpamFighter Pro it is because you have exceeded the limit of 100 addresses. You can fix this by buying SpamFighter Pro or by deleting some of the addresses in your Black/White list. If you want delete addresses, do the following: 1. Click More" in the SpamFighter toolbar. 2. Click "Options". 3. Click "Filter Settings". 4. Then "Blacklists & Whitelists". 5. Delete enough of the addresses you see to get under the 100 address limit.

12 Page 12 of 13 SPAM INSPECTOR - top Spam Inspector do the following: 1. Open Spam Inspector. 2. Click Manage Friends List in either the Spam Inspector Toolbar or in the Outlook menu. 3. Select under Add a New Friend. 4. Enter [email protected]. 5. Click the >> button. 6. Click Close. SPAM INTERCEPTOR - top Spam Interceptor do the following: 1. Open Spam Interceptor. 2. Click Trusted Link under > Authentication Lists. 3. Enter [email protected]. 4. Click Add. SPAMPAL - top SpamPal do the following: 1. Right-click the SpamPal system tray icon. 2. Click Add to Whitelist in the menu. 3. Enter [email protected]. 4. Click Add. SPAM SLEUTH - top Spam Sleuth do the following: 1. Open Spam Sleuth. 2. Click File. 3. Click Configure. 4. Find the Friends category. 5. Click Active. 6. Enter [email protected] on a line by itself in the entry field. 7. Click OK.

13 Page 13 of 13 TREND MICRO ANTI-SPAM TOOLBAR - top The Trend Micro Anti-Spam Toolbar detects spam by looking for certain keywords, in the 's subject or body, and matching them with the anti-spam pattern file. To make sure FMG University s get delivered to your inbox and don t get delivered to spam by Trend Micro Anti-Spam Toolbar there are 2 things you can do: ADD FMG UNIVERSITY TO THE APPROVED S ENDERS LIST 1. Open Outlook or Outlook Express. 2. Click the Spam Mail folder, then open an FMG University Click Approve Sender on the toolbar. 4. Click Yes when the confirmation message appears. DECREASE THE SPAM EM AIL FILTER STRENGTH 1. Open Outlook or Outlook Express. 2. Click Trend Micro Anti-Spam, then click Settings. 3. On the Spam Filter tab, move the slider bar to select a lower filter strength. 4. Click OK to save your settings. 5. NOTE: You can also select the and click Not Spam to report it to Trend Micro Anti-Spam. However, this feature serves only as a reference when they develop their spam database, and it may not affect how the toolbar detects spam. OTHER SPAM FILTERS NOT LISTED top If s from FMG University are being filtered, try adding [email protected] to your Address Book or Contact list.if messages continue to be sent to your junk folder, contact your ISP or spam filter application support and ask how to whitelist [email protected].
