6 Activities YOGA: Vinyasa Yoga clases for beginners, intermediate or professional are available everyday in Playa Hermosa, Jaco or on the beach. We can also organise private lessons at the Lodge. Lessons are delivery by teacher with Dharma Yoga Registered Yoga Teacher. MANUEL ANTONIO: This park is just south of Quepos, one hour by car from the lodge. Manuel Antonio Park is so popular because of its white sand beaches backed by an evergreen forest that grows right up to the high tide line. This park has one of the most impressive landscapes of the world and has several coves with many white sand beaches and lush foliage amidst great mountains and forests that reach the beaches. CARARA NATIONAL PARK: contains more primary rainforest than the relatively close Manuel Antonio National Park. As such, it is more humid than the more popular Manuel Antonio National Park, and has denser tree growth and more mosquitoes and other insects. The dense tree growth makes Carara a haven for many bird species. TULLIN VALLEY: Mataplatano, San Isidro, Montelimar and San Antonio. Just behind our lodge in the Tullin valley, 20 minutes by car on a pathway, you can find some small traditional villages alongside a river. A beautiful and large river where you can swim in fresh water or fish some crawfish. TARCOLES CROCODILE: Only 30 minutes from the lodge, Tarcoles is a little village with traditional fishermen and a famous Crocodile Tour! The river s upper reaches form the northern border of the Carara Biological Reserve. It is a habitat for american crocodiles, while the marshes located at the river s mouth have many waterfowl and wading birds. HORSE BACK RIDING TOUR: starts at only 10 minutes from Jaco Beach. You will have the opportunity to spot some great wildlife such as: tucans, scarlet macaws, white-face monkeys. When you arrive at the swimming area, you will eat some fresh tropical fruits and drink fresh water, and you will have some time to hang out and enjoy the waterfalls and natural slides. QUAD AND ATV TOUR: bring you to a part of Costa Rica where you still can find old traditions alive. You will drive yourself with a 4-wheel motorcycle that copes with all kinds of terrain through an authentic part of Costa Rica, passing culture fields, crossing jungle and driving through some villages.
