3 INTRODUCTION This document serves as a supporting document for users of the ecpd Social Services website. Within this document there are steps that explain how to buy an online course on the system. Page 3 AVAILABLE PAYMENT METHODS After adding your selected course(s) to your shopping cart, you have two payment methods to consider. ONLINE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT Your CPD courses will be immediately available to participate in. Use your credit card to make an online purchase using our secure Online Payment Gateway. ecpd makes use of Virtual Card Services (VCS) to ensure your safety and privacy while shopping online. Learn more about the VCS service and security here. DIRECT DEPOSIT (EFT) You can make a payment directly into our bank account and send us the proof of payment. The transaction will be verified within a few days. As soon as your payment reflects on our bank statement, we will enrol you into your chosen course/s.

4 HOW TO BUY YOUR COURSE Please follow these steps to buy a CPD course on the system. SELECTING YOUR COURSE/S TO BUY Page 4 STEP 1 Once you have logged in with your unique username and password you will view the front page. The course categories are listed as pictures: STEP 2 Under the heading of Course Categories select a category that interest you. For this demonstration we will select Vulnerable Adults and Older Persons :

5 STEP 3 Once you have selected the Course category, in this example Vulnerable Adults and Older Persons, then a new screen will open up with a list of available courses: Page 5 STEP 4 In order to have access to a course you need to buy it first by adding it to your shopping cart. From the list of available courses click on the ADD TO CART button of the course you would like to complete.

6 STEP 5 Once you have selected the ADD TO CART button the shopping cart screen will open. Here the course/s you have selected will be listed. You have the option to CONTINUE SHOPPING for more courses or the buy the course by clicking on the CHECKOUT button: Page 6 STEP 6 After you have selected the CHECKOUT button, a payment option screen will open and give you the choice to either pay via EFT or your Credit Card.

7 SELECTING YOUR PAYMENT METHOD COMPLETING AN ONLINE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT STEP1 Activate the round button next to Credit Card Payment and click on the PROCEED button: Page 7 STEP 2 After you have selected the PROCEED button your payment screen will open. Enter all the required fields in the form to successfully make your payment. When the form is filled in, click on the SUBMIT button:

8 STEP 3 Once you have clicked on the SUBMIT button you will be provided with a confirmation of your payment: Page 8 COMPLETING A DIRECT DEPOSIT (EFT) STEP 1 Once you have selected the CHECKOUT button at your shopping cart, you will be able to choose your desired method of payment. Activate the round button next to Direct Deposit/EFT and click on the PROCEED button: STEP 2 A screen will open notifying you that you will only have access to the course once you have send us your proof of payment. As soon as your payment reflects on our bank statement, we will enrol you. Click on PROCEED.
