12 12 Get Your Class Schedule Students are pre-registered in the following courses: Core courses in College/Major requirements University English courses or EL0200 (if the student is required to take this course) You are advised not to drop the pre-registered courses as they are compulsory ones in your study

13 13 Prepare for Semester A Course Registration Refer to the Programmes and Courses website Review your suggested study plan and the DegreeWorks Advising Worksheet for courses needed to take to look for courses you wish Web-enabled? Course registration restrictions? Any time clash with your current schedule? Mark the CRNs you wish to register. (ALL components e.g. lecture + tutorial + laboratory)

14 14 Prepare for Semester A Course Registration Your web registration starts from 19 August periods for add/drop of courses Period 1 - College/Major Courses (Except GE Area 1 3 Courses & GE1501) Period 2 GE Area 1 3 Courses & GE1501 Period 3 All Courses (Open registration) 19 August pm (ends at 11:30pm) Check individual time ticket assigned 21 August (4:00pm 6:00pm) 22 August (9:00am) 8 September (11:30pm)

15 15 Add/Drop Courses in AIMS Full-time student s normal credit load is credits in each semester For the specific web registration period assigned for GE courses (Period 2), students are allowed to register for only 1 course in GE Areas 1-3. During the open registration period (Period 3), students may add additional GE courses as seats will still be available Waitlisting is available for some specific courses. Check the Waitlist Avail flag in Master Class Schedule. All GE courses in Areas 1-3 and GE 1501 will have the waitlisting option from the start of the open registration period
