Other feasts proper to a particular church. The memorial of a secondary patron of the city, the state, the diocese, the territory, the province, the country, or more extensive territory is obligatory only for the diocesan clergy. V. APPLICATION OF MASSES I. During the course of the year our priests apply: 1. Thirty Masses for the needs of the Society according to the intention of the superior general. Each month all priests celebrate one Mass in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and one Mass in honor of the Holy Spirit (c ). Masses are to be offered on these six feasts of the Society: Christmas (first Mass); Easter Sunday; Pentecost Sunday; Trinity Sunday; Solemnity of the Sacred Heart; feast of the Immaculate Heart of the B. V. M.

For the success of our missionary apostolate Our priests are to celebrate seven Masses in honor of the Holy Spirit for our missionary work, if possible between the Ascension and Pentecost (c ). 3. For superiors on their name day: for the superior general; for the diocesan bishop ; vicar apostolic; prefect apostolic; regional vicar; for the provincial superior of one s province; for the local or district superior in their respective community or district. 4. For deceased superiors Upon the death of their superior (superior general; provincial superior; local superior) all confreres offer the Eucharist for him (c ). 5. All Souls Day Every priest is to celebrate Holy Mass not only for his own deceased relatives, friends and benefactors, but also for the Society s members and benefactors (first Mass). If a priest celebrates three Masses, according to the directives of the Holy Father, one Mass is to be celebrated on behalf of all the dead and another is to be offered for the intention of the Holy Father. 6. For one s own intention Priest confreres are permitted to celebrate 24 Masses each year for their own intention. 7. Other Masses All remaining Masses should be celebrated for the intentions which the competent superior supplies to each of our priests through the respective treasurer. 8. Brothers in perpetual vows may request 4 Masses each year to be celebrated for their intentions.

Im Verlauf des Jahres applizieren unsere Priester hl. Messen für die Anliegen der Gesellschaft nach der Meinung des Generalsuperiors: Einmal im Monat feiern alle Priester eine Messe zu Ehren des heiligsten Herzens Jesu und eine zu Ehren des Heiligen Geistes (Ko ). An folgenden sechs Festtagen unserer Gesellschaft sind heilige Messen zu feiern: Weihnachten (erste Messe); Ostersonntag; Pfingstsonntag; Dreifaltigkeitssonntag; Herz-Jesu-Fest; Herz- Mariä-Fest. 2. Für den Erfolg unseres Missionsapostolates Im Verlauf des Jahres, wenn möglich in der Zeit von Christi Himmelfahrt bis Pfingsten, sollen unsere Priester siebenmal die Eucharistie zu Ehren des Heiligen Geistes für unsere Missionsarbeit feiern (Ko ). 3. Für die Oberen an ihrem Namenstag: für den Generalsuperior; für den Ortsordinarius ; den Apostolischen Vikar ; den Apostolischen Präfekten ; den Apostolischen Administrator und den Regionalvikar ; für den Provinzoberen in der eigenen Provinz; für den Haus- und Distriktsoberen in der jeweiligen Kommunität oder im Distrikt. 4. Für verstorbene Obere Stirbt der Obere (Generalsuperior, Provinzobere, Lokalobere), so feiern alle ihm unterstellten Priester eine hl. Messe für ihn (Ko ).

13 Praenotanda Am Allerseelentag Jeder Priester soll nicht nur für seine eigenen Angehörigen, Freunde und Wohltäter die hl. Messe feiern, sondern auch für die Mitglieder und Wohltäter der Gesellschaft (erste Messe). Jeder Priester, der drei hl. Messen feiert, soll nach der Weisung des Hl. Vaters eine Messe für alle Verstorbenen und eine weitere nach der Meinung des Hl. Vaters selber darbringen. 6. Nach eigener Meinung dürfen priesterliche Mitbrüder jedes Jahr 24 Messen feiern. 7. Die übrigen Messen sollen dargebracht werden für die Intentionen, die die zuständigen Oberen unseren Priestern durch die betreffenden Ökonomen angeben. 8. Brüder in ewigen Gelübden können darum bitten, daß vier hl. Messen im Jahr nach ihrer Meinung gefeiert werden. II. Corazón de Jesús y otra en honor del Espíritu Santo (Co ). En los siguientes seis días festivos de la Congregación: Navidad (primera misa); Pascua de Resurrección; Pentecostés; Santísima Trinidad; Sagrado Corazón de Jesús; Inmaculado Corazón de María.

Por el feliz éxito de nuestro apostolado misional Durante el curso del año, con preferencia en los días entre Ascensión y Pentecostés, nuestros sacerdotes celebrarán siete veces la santa misa en honor del Espíritu Santo por nuestro trabajo misional (Co ). 3. Por los superiores en su día onomástico: por el Superior General; por el Obispo diocesano ; el Vicario apostólico; el Prefecto apostólico; el Administrador apostólico, y el Vicario regional; por el propio Superior Provincial; por el propio Superior de la casa o del distrito. 4. Por los superiores recién fallecidos Con ocasión del fallecimiento del respectivo Superior (General, Provincial, Local) todos los cohermanos ofrecen por él una santa misa (Co ). 5. En la conmemoración de todos los Fieles Difuntos Cada sacerdote celebrará la santa misa no sólo por sus parientes, amigos y bienhechores fallecidos, sino también por los miembros y bienhechores difuntos de la Congregación (primera misa). De acuerdo a las directivas del Santo Padre, si un sacerdote celebra tres misas, una de ellas será celebrada por todos los difuntos y otra por las intenciones del propio Santo Padre. 6. Por las intenciones propias Los sacerdotes de la Congregación están autorizados para celebrar 24 misas, cada año, por sus propias intenciones. 7. Otras misas Todas las demás misas deberán ser celebradas por las intenciones entregadas por el superior competente a cada uno de nuestros sacerdotes a través de los respectivos ecónomos.
