7 GAIN Reward The GAIN Rewards were developed to help provide grants to further assist students who are selected as awardees by the highly respected Benjamin A. Gilman and David L. Boren. Available to CIEE Study Center applicants only. The applicant must have been selected to receive the Boren for International Study or the Benjamin A. Gilman International, and have greater than $1000 in outstanding, documented financial need. (NOTE: Students apply for the CIEE GAIN Reward prior to learning if they have received the Boren or Gilman award, and will be prompted by CIEE at a later date to submit additional documentation that they have been granted these awards, and to update financial aid information.) $1000-$4000 online Summer / Fall - July Winter / Spring - Jan Michael Stohl Available to CIEE Study Center applicants only. 9 Engineering IHP Grant The Lewy Family Global Health Scholars Fund The Middle East and Islamic Studies Pell Grant Matching Sally Bragg Baker SIT Fund The Workum Fund For students enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program and who have demonstrated financial need. IHP Grant for students participating on an IHP comparative program. These grants are awarded based on financial need. For women scholars hoping to make a positive impact on health projects in needy areas. Recipients are expected to spend a semester in-country living and working with local communities and partners to improve their health care system and contribute to the overall improvement of the community s general health and welfare. For students participating in with significant Middle Eastern and/or Islamic studies content. Matching of a student s Pell award used for semester study abroad with SIT. More than 30 SIT across the globe are eligible.
