Develop relationships with key high schools, and high school staff to create and implement early high school outreach efforts for students and parents Construct a joint enrollment program with the Academic Bridge Program to offer design outreach and joint admissions to Qatari students interested in VCUQ DIRECTOR STRATEGIC RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES 10/ /2011 Oversee and manage initiatives for transfer and international targets, relationships and undergraduate recruitment efforts, strategic plans and implementation of admissions policies, guidelines for resident, non-resident transfer and international prospects, applicants and admitted students and parents, Supervise 21 recruitment staff members. Contribute to the enrollment of the largest, most diverse freshmen class for fall 2010 including: o Increase international undergraduate applications by 38% for 2010 o Increase transfer applications by 13% for 2010 o Increase resident freshmen applications by 9% for 2010 o Increase non-resident freshmen applications by 5% for 2010 Maintain effective involvement program with/for Alumni, parents, and continuing students, providing training, communication, support, information and materials, in order to expand and enhance PAWS efforts Work closely with Marketing and the Connect coordinator to develop and create marketing communications and campaigns for various demographics, parents and throughout various segments of the recruitment process Oversees the purchasing of prospective student names from a variety of organizations, including, but not limited to College Board/PSAT, ACT/PLAN, NRCCUA, Ventures Scholars, College Board Selection Service Network with other admissions professionals nationally to stay abreast of trends and stays current with all forms of communication and marketing tools and strategies Develop, construct and disseminate counselor communications for all high school and transfer counselors Expand non-resident staff and university recruitment efforts by three regional offices Provide leadership to the Joint Admissions program in collaboration with Pima Community College Oversee donor scholarship award process and participate in scholarship appeals review Oversees team budget creation and maintenance. Monitors and approves program expenditures ensuring that budget allocations are not overspent.
