We are pleased therefore, to be able to introduce you to RBS Private Insurance from The Royal Bank of Scotland. RBS Private Insurance (underwritten by U K Insurance Limited) offers a sophisticated range of features and benefits, additional cover levels, and a professional and personal level of service to help protect you and ensures that those items you value most are covered. Additionally, as a Coutts Silk or Coutts Black cardholder, RBS Private Insurance can tailor the cover they provide to complement the insurances you may already enjoy so you won t pay for cover you don t need. As you would expect, the dedicated RBS Private Insurance client services team has expertise extending across many types of insurance including home, motor (with the option to include breakdown cover), travel and even pet insurance for your dogs and cats. 4 RBS Private home insurance RBS Private home insurance provides you with an enhanced range of features and benefits to ensure your contents are always covered: The option to cover each of your homes under one policy, with one renewal date. Enhanced cover, specifically designed for protecting those with higher value homes and possessions. Specialist cover for valuable items, such as jewellery and fine art; high limits available without needing to list individual items worth less than 10,000. Accidental damage cover is automatically included. If needed, an expert tradesman will be sent to your home to fix the damage. Your personal possessions are covered for loss or damage anywhere in the world. RBS Private home appraisal service Your RBS Private home insurance policy will also include the complimentary home appraisal service. This service is designed to ensure that your home and contents are adequately insured, as well as providing guidance on protecting you and your home. Our skilled appraisers are trained to provide you with an accurate rebuild figure for your home and associated outbuildings. They will also work with you to establish an appropriate sum insured for your home contents. Our appraisers will also be able to identify if specialist valuations are required for your valuables to ensure they are insured to their full replacement value. Finally our appraisers will review the security and fire protection at your home, providing you with appropriate risk management guidance. Following the appraisal visit, a detailed appraisal report will be sent to you by the RBS Private Insurance client services team outlining the appraiser s findings and conclusions. 5 RBS Private motor insurance RBS Private motor insurance provides you with an enhanced range of features and benefits to ensure you and your cars are adequately covered. The option to cover all of your cars, including sports or classic cars, under one policy with one renewal date. The option to include enhanced courtesy car cover as part of your policy, providing up to 4,000 towards the cost of hiring a replacement vehicle that is similar to your current model in the event of an accident. Brand new car replacement with one of the same make and model, in the event of your car being written off within the first 24 months of vehicle registration. RBS Private breakdown cover If you have RBS Private motor insurance you can also opt to add breakdown cover, provided by Green Flag. The RBS Private breakdown cover is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so help is always at hand. Priority is given to people in a vulnerable position and you will receive a text to let you know someone is on their way to you. If your car cannot be fixed at the roadside, you will be given the choice of a hire car or alternative travel to your location. Coutts RBS Private Insurance 3

6 DEDICATED SERVICE WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST RBS Private travel insurance If you do not have a Coutts Silk or Coutts Black Card, you can further tailor the cover to meet your needs and add travel insurance to your RBS Private home insurance policy. RBS Private travel insurance comprises of features and benefits for clients up to the age of 74. The cover includes: Worldwide annual protection for you and your family, whether you re travelling together or separately. For added convenience and protection, up to 750 of winter sports cover automatically included to cover lost or damaged equipment. Our travel medical emergency helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to provide professional assistance when you need it most. Should you need to make a claim, the claims helpline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Following your call, a dedicated RBS Private Insurance claims handler will be assigned to handle your case, who will proceed with swiftly settling your claim with minimal inconvenience and paperwork. Please note This service is only available to Coutts & Co clients whose main residence is based in the UK. Quotes are valid for 90 days. RBS Private Insurance is underwritten by U K Insurance Limited. In its capacity as your bank, Coutts is acting as an introducer to RBS Private Insurance. In the event that you take up any insurance policy through RBS Private Insurance, Coutts & Co will receive the following tariff of commissions for acting as introducer: Home insurance (buildings and contents) and travel insurance 12.5% of Gross Written Premium.
