Whether you are at the mercy of a major disaster or facing the inconvenience of a small claim, our teams highly professional, efficient and timely support will be there when you need it the most. We understand that money can t always replace your most treasured items; and our Private Client team can connect you with a comprehensive network of specialists to help replace, repair or restore whenever possible. Excess Protect: Excess is the amount you have to pay in the event of a claim on your insurance policy. Generally the larger your excess amount the lower your insurance premium. We give you the option to take out our Excess Protect cover, a policy that can protects the excess amount in the event of a claim. How it Works For example: If you have a 500 excess on your home insurance and you have a claim for 1000, you are liable to pay for the first 500 of the claim and the insurance company for the remaining 500. Our Excess Protect policy could reimburse you for the 500 excess charge.
