Why do I need a linearly based referencing system? The pipeline centreline will become the common basis for referencing other pipeline data such as inspection, integrity or coating data, not all of which are measured spatially. Can this software align multiple sets of corrosion data from in-line inspections? Yes. We can take data from successive inspections and load them onto a common linear reference. Using alignment tools to ensure markers, valves etc., seen during inspection are correctly aligned with known pipeline features.
