2 BOARD MOBILE BOARD Mobile version 9 introduces data-entry, write-back and business rules support, making it possible to develop and deploy planning, forecasting and simulation applications on ipad and Win 8 tablets. Brand new capabilities allow business users to share dynamic reports through their mobile devices, enabling collaborative decision-making from anywhere, anytime. This comprehensive set of features makes BOARD 9 the only platform on the market capable to move Mobile Intelligence beyond pure reporting and analysis, extending it to performance management. Finally mobile workforce will be able to not only run analyses on up-to-date information, but also to actively take part in business decision-making processes. Data-entry and write-back The new BOARD Mobile version fully supports logical data-entry, empowering business users to enter data and to instantly have information updated across dimensions and hierarchies. Correlated analyses, reports and KPIs are automatically refreshed in real-time, providing immediate and visual insight on the impact of the changes done. This way business users can finally count on a mobile environment capable to make them actors and not only spectators of company decision-making processes at any time and wherever they are. The link receivers will be able to directly access the report into the BOARD application visualising data based on their security profiles. An innovative visual time-bar makes any time selection simpler, faster and smarter. A number of new graphs such as heat map, treemap, waterfall and radar extend BOARD s visual analysis capability always offering users the best visualisation options to make sense of their data.

8 BOARD Geo-mapping BOARD 9 introduces the capability to represent information on interactive maps allowing business users to better focus on the where factor and to gain spatial insights on their data. With BOARD map visualisation users can zoom at street level, drill-down on information detail, and crop geographic areas to create location-based selections that apply to the whole dashboard. Look and feel of BOARD mapping Nexel BOARD 9 introduces Nexel, an innovative calculation environment that brings typical Excel capabilities into BOARD. 9 In-memory servers cluster BOARD 9 offers an advanced In-Memory Server Cluster architecture making it possible to share BOARD server workload on a virtually unlimited number of nodes. The whole process is performed in RAM using the BOARD HBMP In-Memory technology, thus making it extremely efficient: each single node can take charge of its own data fetch and calculation processes (the most time-consuming activities) while only the delta data outcomes are synchronised between servers through a super fast in memory update. Behind the scene, it is possible to implement very flexible automatic Load Balancing logics based on users, security profiles and performance indices or, alternatively, the administrator can configure ad-hoc models defining which data, users and processes to handle on any single node.
