A CPO is trained to watch for subtle actions that another guard might miss. Specialized G4S security personnel may receive additional training for specific assignments. All G4S CPO personnel are subjected to a stringent G4S background investigation and psychological assessment. All CPO personnel must also complete a mandatory 40 hour basic training program.

State and local governments DO have access to discounted pricing for high quality G4S security services through GSA FSS 84. Following government regulations to find the best price is cumbersome and time consuming! When you contract with G4S through GSA FSS 84, our prices have been established as fair and reasonable. Too much time is spent qualifying vendors ensuring that I have provided full and open competition. A contract with G4S through GSA FSS 84 is considered to have been placed using full and open competition. I need flexibility for ordering. I don t always know the timing and level of services I ll need. Plus, it takes time to negotiate and issue contracts. A GSA Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) can be established with G4S, eliminating the need to renegotiate for each purchase.
