2 Paris EUROPLACE is the organization whose role is to represent and promote the Paris financial marketplace and its main competitive advantages at a European and international level. Paris EUROPLACE brings together the multiplicity of players in the financial industry. Today, it gathers 150 members, among which French and international listed companies, banks and financial institutions, asset management firms, insurance companies and market Authorities, operating from Paris. All members contribute to the Association's action program. The competitiveness of the Paris financial market is of strategic importance to local governments as well as to the nation's economy. That's why, Paris EUROPLACE has undertaken a dynamic working program, including study groups aiming at making reform proposals, in order to make the tax and regulatory environment more attractive. In addition, Paris EUROPLACE offers a wide range of services from welcoming foreign professionals in Paris, to organizing Forums and roadshows overseas, publishing financial information and coordinating think tanks on French and European related topics.
