1 CFAWL Officers President - Barbara Leach started her education at Valencia Community College, then earned a bachelor s in English from Rollins College and a J.D. from Florida State University. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she worked in public relations and event planning, served as a recruiter for a staffing agency, and spent five fun-filled years teaching the joys of rubber stamping. Now, she's a solo-practitioner who focuses her practice on consumer bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, family law, and general litigation. For leisure, she loves to ride her bike and spend time with her six-pound Chihuahua Brule although not at the same time! President-Elect - Ashley C. Winship, LL.M., is a Shareholder at Rush, Marshall, Jones and Kelly, P.A., where she practices in the area of tax, trusts, wills, and estates, and is the chair of the firm s Trusts and Estates department. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Florida Southern College in advertising and graphic design, Ms. Winship attended Stetson University, where she earned both a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate. During her tenure at Stetson, Ms. Winship served as a student intern to U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas G. Wilson at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and as Articles Editor for the Stetson Law Review. Ms. Winship earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida College of Law, where she served as an assistant editor for the Florida Tax Review. In 2006, the Florida Southern College chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa recognized Ms. Winship with its annual "Grads Made Good Award." In 2013, the Florida Association for Women Lawyers awarded Ms. Winship with one of its annual Leaders in the Law awards. She is the author of published literary and scholarly works, has been active in numerous professional and community organizations, and has appeared as a guest lecturer at Florida Southern College.

2 Treasurer - Amanda Perry practices at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowtiz, PC, in the area of general commercial litigation. This is Amanda's third year serving on the CFAWL Board of Directors, and her past positions include Membership Director, Treasurer-Elect, and Treasurer. Amanda is a 2006 graduate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. While at the Levin College of Law, Amanda was the Symposium Editor of the Florida Law Review, a position which gave her the opportunity to organize the Dunwody Lecture in Law. She also organized a panel for the Public Interest Environmental Conference, was an active member of the Environmental and Land Use Law Society, and participated in the Conservation Clinic, where she worked closely with local governments on various projects, including drafting local legislation. Amanda received Book Awards in Estates and Trusts, Property, Legal Research and Writing, Appellate Advocacy, and Florida Administrative Law, and was admitted to Order of the Coif. Amanda received her bachelor s degree, with high honors, from the University of Florida, where she majored in Agricultural Education and minored in Agricultural Law. In 2013, Amanda received one of the Leaders in the Law Awards, presented by the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. In her free time, Amanda enjoys watching any Gator sporting event and running marathons and half marathons. She will be completing her next half marathon in New York in October and her next full marathon in December, 2013, as part of Team Baker Donelson to raise money for St. Jude's. Amanda is also a member of the OCBA, the Florida Cattlemen's Association, and is involved as a mentor at the Central Florida Leadership Academy.

3 Treasurer-Elect - Heather M. Kozlowski is an associate at Cole, Scott, & Kissane P.A., where her practice focuses on employment litigation in areas including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, overtime and unpaid wages, FMLA leave and disability issues, employment contracts, whistleblower and other employment law claims under various state and federal laws. Ms. Kozlowski received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and her Juris Doctorate degree from Barry University School of Law. Currently, Ms. Kozlowski is Co-Chair of the OCBA Labor & Employment Law Committee, YLS Young Lawyers & Law Clerks Reception Chair, YLS Dodgeball Tournament Co- Chair, and is a Moot Court Coach for the Barry University School of Law. She also volunteers as a Wish Granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, is a member of the Junior League of Greater Orlando, and an alumnae of the Chi Omega Sorority. In her spare time, Heather enjoys playing team sports, boating, going to football games, and spending time with friends and family. Secretary - Keshara Davis received both her undergraduate degree (B.S. Criminology 2004) and her law degree (J.D. 2007) from Florida State University. She currently works as Bar Counsel for The Florida Bar in Orlando, Florida. As bar counsel, Ms. Davis is responsible for the investigation of complaints against attorneys accused of violating the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar. She handles all phases of the disciplinary trial including filing appellate briefs with the Florida Supreme Court. Ms. Davis currently serves on the board of directors for the Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the Central Florida YMCA Teen Achievers. She is a Justice Teaching volunteer at Carver Middle School, and serves as a judge for the annual high school statewide Mock Trial and We the People competitions. In 2011, Ms. Davis was recognized by the National Bar Association and Impact as one of the Nation s Best Advocates: 40 Lawyers Under 40 and she was also inducted into the inaugural Hall of Fame class for the Delores Poindexter Auzenne Chapter of the Black Law Students Association at the Florida State University College of Law. In 2012, Ms. Davis was the recipient of the inaugural Lawyer of the Year award from the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association.

4 CFAWL Directors Membership Director - Megan Malec is an associate attorney at N. Diane Holmes, P.A. Family Law Group and practices in the area of marital and family law. Prior to joining N. Diane Holmes, P.A. Family Law Group in May 2011, Megan was a staff attorney for the domestic relations division of the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Megan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. She served as CFAWL's Young Lawyers Chair in and and chaired the Extreme Makeover: Harbor House of Central Florida project and Changing the Family Landscape project at SafeHouse of Seminole. Megan was honored by FAWL as a Leader in the Law in In her spare time, she enjoys golfing and kayaking with her husband and running with her dog.

5 Co-Membership Director - Kimberly Hosley received her Bachelor of Arts Degree, cum laude, from Stetson University in 2001, majoring in Economics, Political Science, and International Studies. She received her Doctor of Law Degree from Emory University School of Law in While at Emory, Kimberly had the pleasure of clerking for Judge Marcy Louza, an administrative law judge with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and was a certified mediator in the state of Georgia. Kimberly is an active member of the legal community and the community at large. She frequently provides pro bono representation as a guardian ad litem attorney for dependent children and has been honored by the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar for her pro bono service. Kimberly is also an active member of the Orange County Bar Association's Professionalism Committee and currently serves as a member of the Ninth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee of the Florida Bar. She is a member, by invitation, of the George C. Young First Central Florida American Inn of Court. She is a member of the Florida Justice Association and the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association. Kimberly has chaired CFAWL s Professional Women's Exchange as well as other CFAWL events to raise money for children's charities and a scholarship fund for law students. She was honored this year by the Florida Association for Women Lawyers with the Leader in the Law award. Kimberly practices law at the McMillen Law Firm in the areas of medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, and commercial litigation. Programs Director - Jessica McGinnis earned her undergraduate degree in Business Management (2004) from the University of Florida and her law degree (2007) from Barry University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. She is the Vice President and In House Counsel at Price Management where she focuses mainly on employment law. While at Barry, Jessica served as a Senator for two years in the Student Bar Association and was an associate editor for the Law Review. Jessica has served as Treasurer, Secretary, and co-chair for the Community Outreach Fair on behalf of CFAWL. Jessica is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association.

6 Co-Programs Director - Kayla Mudge received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees (Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, International Business and Management double major, and Master of Business Administration) from Drake University. During her time at Drake, she successfully completed the Dr. Donald V. Adams Leadership Academy. Ms. Mudge went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in During law school, Ms. Mudge served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association for two terms, mentored first year students through the Study Skills Leader Program, and volunteered with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. She received book awards for earning the highest grades in Trial Advocacy and Motions & Depositions. Ms. Mudge is an associate at the law firm of Killgore, Pearlman, Stamp, Ornstein & Squires, P.A., where she concentrates her legal practice on automotive dealership law, corporate and business law, and labor and employment law. She is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Florida and Illinois as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District and Southern District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. She serves on the Lawyers for Literacy Committee of the Orange County Bar Association and volunteers with B.A.S.E. Camp in Winter Park, Florida.

7 FAWL Representative - Gennifer Powell practices with Holland & Knight LLP in the areas of complex civil and commercial litigation. She has experience with cases involving a variety of business litigation issues, with an emphasis on real estate litigation, contractual disputes, and the representation of financial institutions and other lenders. She has also assisted with multiple tax litigation matters. Ms. Powell attended Florida State University College of Law, where she was named to the Order of the Coif, served as the President of the Mock Trial Team, and was a member of the Law Review. She obtained her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Religious Studies from Stetson University. Ms. Powell was named a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers magazine in 2012 and In addition to CFAWL and FAWL, Ms. Powell is on the board of the Orlando Day Nursery. OCBA Representative - Wynne McFarlin is a 1989 graduate of Stetson University College of Law, cum laude, and holds a B.S. from FSU. After law school graduation,wynne clerked for a Federal Bankruptcy Judge, before joining a firm where she practiced primarily in the field of bankruptcy for more than ten years. Wynne is the founder, owner, and operator of Legal Talent, an attorney recruitment and placement firm. Starting as a new attorney and continuing through today, Wynne routinely handles pro bono guardian ad litem cases on behalf of abused abandoned and neglected children. When not working, Wynne enjoys spending time with her husband David (also an attorney), their son Austin who is a junior in high school, and their extended family. Together they enjoy lots of outdoor activities, sports, traveling, church related activities and theme parks. Wynne makes time almost every day to train so she can participate in triathlons throughout the year.

8 Public Relations Director - Mary Katherine Katie Tinsley is an associate at Carlton Fields, P.A., and focuses her practice in general business and construction litigation. Katie joined CFAWL in 2011 and served as the Holidays in January event Chair in This is Katie s first year serving on the CFAWL Board of Directors. Katie graduated with high honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction and attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Also as a student, Katie externed for the Honorable Anne Conway. While in Law School, Katie participated as a competitor and coach in several moot court competitions. Katie s team was Regional Champions at the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition in the Boston Regional. Katie is also a member of the Georgia Tech Young Alumni Council, Junior League of Greater Orlando, and serves as secretary for the Georgia Tech Central Florida Network Club. In her free time, Katie enjoys hanging out with her wonderful husband, playing ball with her black lab, and escaping to the lake or beach as often as she can.

9 Director-at-Large - Camy B. Schwam-Wilcox opened her own firm in December Prior to attending law school, Camy was a paralegal for three years at a labor and employment law firm. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in English Literature in 1994, and from Nova Southeastern University in 1999 with her J.D. While in law school, Camy was a paralegal for the Attorney General s office in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and did her externship for the Honorable Renee Goldenberg. Prior to going into private practice, Camy was an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Camy currently practices in the areas of: Matrimonial and Family Law, Criminal Defense, Bankruptcy (7 &13), Dependency, Domestic Violence Injunctions, and Wills. Camy is also a Family Law Mediator, and does extensive Guardian ad Litem work, both in domestic and dependency cases. In addition to serving on the CFAWL Board of Directors, Camy is a member of The Inns of Court (Family Law), Orange County Bar Association (Family Law Executive Committee Chair), Florida Bar Grievance Committee, Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida, Central Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and is the secretary for the OCBA Judicial Relations Committee. Her proudest accomplishment is being a mother to her 5 year old son, Riley, and her 4 year old daughter, Bradleigh. Camy enjoys tap dancing, theater, traveling, and spending as much time with her family as possible. Backpack Project Chair Kristen Johnson is an associate at Boehm Brown Harwood, P.A., in Maitland, Florida, where she defends first party property claims. Kristen received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University, and her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law. She is also a member of the State Bar of Georgia. She has been a member of CFAWL since moving to Florida in In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at the SPCA of Central Florida.

10 Young Lawyers Chair - Mary Walter is a civil trial attorney with the Dutton Law Group. A Double Nole, she received her both undergraduate degrees (Management and Multinational Business) and her law degree from the Florida State University. While at Florida State, Ms. Walter was an active member of the FSU Marching Chiefs, serving for three years on its leadership team. During law school, Ms. Walter was named to the Order of the Coif. She also served as a pupil of the William H. Stafford Chapter of the American Inn of Court and as the Co-Editor in Chief of the FSU Business Review. Ms. Walter is a native of Winter Park. Since returning to Central Florida, she has remained active in her legal community with both CFAWL and the OCBA. She is a volunteer for the OCBA s Civil Dispute Settlement / Family Law Mediation Service. She is also a strong supporter of the Orlando Rowing Club, having raced as a coxswain with the club in Miami, Boston, and Chattanooga. Ms. Walter satisfies her creative and business interests through participation on the Board of Directors for Overture, the young patrons of the Orlando Philharmonic, and with FemCity Orlando, a savvy and dynamic organization of business professionals.
