3 Welcome Welcome to the directory of drug and alcohol treatment and support services for Waltham Forest. The directory is for people with drug or alcohol problems who live in the borough, their families and carers as well as professionals. This directory provides details of local organisations working specifically with problematic drug and alcohol users, as well as some national organisations and helplines. How do I know where to go for help? You can contact any agency directly but it is recommended for drugs the first agency should be Turning Point Open Access Service, Hoe Street, Walthamstow. For alcohol, all calls should be directed to the Waltham Forest Integrated Alcohol Service, 1 Beulah Road, Walthamstow. Both of these services provide a range of interventions in themselves and can provide referral to higher threshold services such as CDAT where appropriate.
