Individual tables show the mean, median, maximum and minimum salaries, and number of responses. The Salary Survey is prepared with the cooperation and assistance of ACBSP member institutions and their staffs. ACBSP s salary survey information is voluntary and is not connected formally or informally with ACBSP accreditation. There is no ACBSP accreditation standard related to salaries. 5 Foreword On behalf of the dozens of persons involved in this first ever ACBSP Salary Survey, I begin by thanking our members who participated by their responses. Your time and cooperation are greatly appreciated, and we feel the data collected by the survey is of great value. Thank you also to Dr. Jack McCann and Mr. Matthew Sweet of Lincoln Memorial University for their work in initiating this project, designing the survey instrument, collecting and compiling the data, and preparing this Executive Summary as well as the entire Salary Survey Report. The project was monitored by the ACBSP Member Relations Committee and aims to provide a new level of service for our members. Thank you to the Committee members for their insights and contributions. ACBSP encourages your feedback on both this report and the Salary Survey itself. In keeping with our mission and values, we are committed to continuous improvement and welcome suggestions for changes in the next version of the survey. 6 Preface This executive summary report details salaries for administrative personnel, faculty, and adjunct faculty both in the U.S and by region within the ACBSP for the academic year. This inaugural study was designed and executed by Dr. Jack McCann, Dean of the School of Business and Mr. Matthew Sweet, Director of Academic Services and Assessment, for the School of Business at Lincoln Memorial University, in collaboration with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs. Members can purchase the data set in Microsoft Excel Format, which includes each question and the responses to each question, both quantitative and qualitative. The cost of the dataset is $50.00 and will be available February 1, For ordering information, please All individual ACBSP members were invited to participate in this survey. This report includes both the U.S. members as well as responses by region. There are ten regions in ACBSP: Region 1 Northeastern Council Region 2 Eastern Council Region 3 Southeastern Council Region 4 Great Lakes Council Region 5 Midwestern Council Region 6 Southwestern Council Region 7 Western Council Region 8 International Council Region 9 Latin American Council Region10 South Asia Council The survey was administered through SurveyMonkey.com, accessible through a link sent via to 9,378 individual members. Of those surveyed, 1,375 responded. Respondents are summarized in the table below: Table 1. 7 Salary information was collected to the nearest whole dollar. Administrative salaries were collected on a 12-month basis, while faculty salaries were collected on a 9-month equivalency. salaries were collected on a pay per credit hour basis. In the instances where no data was provided, the fields are populated with -- to indicate no data reported.
