Requirements: Applicants must have or be eligible for Kansas State certification/licensure, or would be interested in becoming certified/licensed to teach special education students in the State of Kansas on a waiver. Location: The Sedgwick County Area Educational Services Interlocal Cooperative #618 has our central office located in Goddard, Kansas, just eight minutes West of the airport in Wichita. The Cooperative provides special education services to students from nine districts on the North, West and Southwest sides of Wichita, Kansas. Over 300 certified/licensed and 575 paraeducator staff serve over 2,900 students on IEPs. Salary: The current salary for a full year contract for the school year for an MS Degree and 0 years experience is $39,930. An MS Degree in Speech/Language Pathology which requires hours above 36 hours will receive advancement on the Salary Schedule based upon the number of hours above 36 hours.
