2 Accessing RVC Online Services The easiest way to access RVC Online Services is by going to the main RVC website and selecting the myrvc icon

3 myrvc The myrvc page allows you to access several sites that are important to the success of every RVC student. The links include: Online Services RVC Eagle RVC Student Login Management

4 You will need your User ID (student ID) and Password to continue! Your Student ID is located on the following: Your registration statement Your acceptance letter Your testing score print out Your Password was created during EPS Note: If you do not have your student ID number, you must show a photo ID at the Information Center or the Records & Registration Office to obtain it.

5 Online Services Click the RVC Online Services link to access your account.

6 Logging In Click Log In in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

7 Logging In 1. Enter a lowercase s followed by your user ID (same as student ID) 2. Enter your password (same as network password)

8 Problems Logging In? From the main page you can click on Account Information for help.

9 Are you having a problem with your password? 1. Click on the What s my password link 2. If you know your password but want to change it, select Yes, I know my current password. Enter your User ID, your current password, your new password selection, and retype your password. (The password must be at least six characters in length andmustcontain letters, numbers,anda a symbol. Ex: cat25!) Click on Change! 3. If you do not know your password, select No, I do not know my password. Enter your User ID and last name Answer the security questions you selected when you set up your network password. (Remember: The answers are case sensitive.) Enter your User ID and select a new password. (The password must be at least six characters in length and must contain letters, numbers, and a symbol. Ex: cat25!) Click Next If you encounter any problems, contact the Info Desk at or stop by their office, located on the first floor of the Student Center, Main Campus.

10 Once You re In! Once you re logged in to Online Services you ll have several options available to you:

11 Financial Profile This screen will alert you to any financial information you may need to know about the current term. Total Charges: The total amount that s expected by the college Student Payments: The amount of money that has been paid on your account by yourself Financial Aid Payments: Any Financial Aid that has been awarded Financial Aid Remaining: Any Financial Aid in a pending status that has not yet been awarded Sponsor p Payments: Monies paid by someone other than yourself (e.g.,,your employer). Anyone considered a sponsor will be billed directly; therefore, your parents would not be considered a sponsor Payment Plans: Payments already made using the payment plan you ve set up Total Payments: Total amount received Refunds: Any monies refunded during the semester Balance: The amount still owed on the account after figuring in refunds

12 Financial Aid First, use the drop down menu to decide what year you want to view. Then click Submit. This screen will let you know how much Financial Aid is awarded per term. This screen also breaks down the type of financial aid you have qualified for.

13 Financial Aid Financial Aid By Term Just like viewing your Financial Aid by year, you will illfirst need to select a term from the drop down menu. Then click Submit. This screen also breaks down the type of Financial aid you have qualified for.

14 Financial Aid Financial Aid Award Letter Pick a year from the drop down menu and click Submit. This screen allows you to print out a copy of your financial aid award letter. ltt The award ltt letter contains ti the total t lfinancial i aid you will receive for a given year and breaks it down by term.

15 Registration Search for Sections

16 Registration Search for Sections 1. Click on Search andregister for Sections 2. Enter the term by clicking on the down arrow 3. Search by subject, days, times, location, method, or instructor and click submit. You must select at least two of these options in order to complete a search of available sections. Note: RVC has several locations such as Main Campus, Stenstrom Center (SCCE), and the Learning and Opportunities Center (LOC) and several methods of instruction such as the Internet (INT) and Hybrid. 4. Click Submit The Search and Register option allows you to search for open seats, select the course, and then register.

17 Registration Search for Sections Subjects: The subject is used to select the course abbreviation. Course levels: The course level is used to select the level of course, but is not necessary to search for available courses. If you re looking for a specific class and you know the Course Number or If you re looking for a specific class and you know the Course Number or Section,enter the information in the required fields. However, the Course Number and Section are not required to search for available courses.

18 Registration Search for Sections The search options below will assist you in limiting your available section search: Sections Meeting After/Sections Ending Before: If you want to look for classes during a specific time of day, this is where you select those times. M T W Th F S Su: Choosing one or several of these days will limit your search to classes that meet on the days you selected. Course Title Keyword(s): This is where you would enter the title of the course. Location: If you need to take classes at a specific location, this will narrow your results to only that location. I L N Instructor s Last Name: This will limit your results to only classes that the specific teacher you requested.

19 Registration Express Registration Express registration is an excellent and convenient way to register for classes Inorder to use Express Registration, you are required to enter the following: Registration Code Subject Course Number Section Number Term This information is located in either the Course Schedule or on Online Services. In order to process your registration, add these courses to your preferred list by clicking Submit and complete the steps for registration that follow.

20 Registration Register and Drop Sections The Register and Drop Sections screen allows you to see all classes on your preferred list as well as classes you re currently registered for. By selecting an Action for classes on your preferred list, you can either remove them or add them to your schedule. By clicking the Drop box next to your current classes, you can easily drop classes you re signed up for.

21 Waitlisting If you find that a course is full, you may be given an option to waitlist for the next available seat for the selected course. Note: If you have not met the course prerequisites or if you have a hold on your account, your request will not be processed.

22 Waitlisting If you choose to waitlist for a course, select the Waitlisting option from the drop down menu and click Submit. Once the waitlist t option has been processed, you will receive a confirmation on the next screen, as well as in your RVCMail account. You must click OK to complete this process.

23 Waitlisting Manage My Waitlist This screen shows the courses you have waitlisted for, along with what number you are on the waitlist. If you notice you are getting close to obtaining the seat, begin checking your RVCMail account for the permission. The RVCMail account is located on the myrvc page, on the RVC website. If you receive the permission from the RVCMail account, log into Online Services, Manage my Waitlist, and select the Register action, and click Submit to complete the registration. If you no longer want this course, select the Remove action and click Submit to complete the process. This can be done at any time during the registration period.

24 Waitlisting Registration Results Thi id fi ti f th it ti ti it This screen provides confirmation of the registration activity selected in the previous screens. You must click OK to continue.

25 Academic Profile Grades This allows you to check midterm and finals grades for a selected term.

26 Academic Profile GPA by Term This allows you to check your GPA for a selected term, as well as the total number of credits you have completed.

27 Academic Profile Transcript The Transcript screen allows you to view all the credit classes you ve completed at RVC, along with the grades, total credits, and the terms you completed the classes. The bottom of this screen provides your overall credit count and cumulative GPA.

28 Academic Profile Program Evaluation The Program Evaluation screen allows you to review your progress towards your degree/certificate completion. If you need assistance reviewing your Program Evaluation, contact Academic Advising Office at If you notice that the active program is incorrect, contact Records & Registration at to update it.

29 Academic Profile Test Summary The Test Summary screen allows you to review your RVC placement scores or ACT scores. If you need assistance interpreting your scores, contact Records & Registration at

30 Academic Profile Custom Transcript Request This screen is an easy way to request your official RVC transcripts. All you have to dois fill outthethe form andclick Submit. 1. Select the transcript type (100 Level/Higher, Remedial, or Continuing i Education) 2. Type the recipient s name 3. Type the recipient s address 4. Select the delivery method (Are you mailing it? Are you picking it up?) 5. Indicate how many copies you need, limit 9 copies. Transcript processing may take 7 10 business days. 6. Click Submit Note: If you have any holds on your account, your transcript will not be processed until the holds are removed.

31 Academic Profile Transcript Request Status The Transcript Request Status screen allows you to view the status of your transcript request. If you have questions regarding your transcript request, contact the Records & Registration Office at

32 Academic Profile My Class Schedule/Textbook List and My Profile My Class Schedule and Textbook List: This screen allows you to view/print your rschedule, along with iththeisbnthe for your textbook. My Profile: This screen allows you to view your personal information on file with RVC. If you notice that your information is incorrect, you may change your address via Online Services Address Change option located on the main menu. Any other information will need to be changed in person at the Records & Registration Office, located on the top floor of the Student Center, Main Campus.
