8 B R AN D N E W: T H E I N T E G R AT I V E M E N TAL H E ALT H S P E C I AL I Z AT I O N Applicants with a licensable mental health degree may apply: Counselors, social workers, MFT therapists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, and psychiatric physicians IMH specialization -- an extended 92 credit PhD degree Students may transfer 30 credits from accredited mental health degree Restoring humanity to the mental health field, healing mind and soul, with a full range of complementary and integrative therapies

9 T H E I N T E G R AT I V E M E N TAL H E ALT H P H D S P E C I AL I Z AT I O N Educates mental health professionals in a whole-person patient-centered, integrative approach to mental health care, via academic education, the acquisition of mindbody and self-regulation skills, and enhanced self-care. Integrates mind-body approaches, nutrition, somatic therapies, the wisdom of world healing traditions, and current research in psychoneuroimmunology and neuroscience.

10 W H O IS ELIGIBLE Individuals who are licensed mental health practitioners, or have a licensable degree in a mental health profession Saybrook University will accept 30 credits in transfer from a licensable degree in a mental health discipline A degree at the master s level or higher MFT, MSW, LPCC, Psychiatric Nurses, Psychologists, and Psychiatric Physicians Our objective is to provide training and education for individuals who are or can be licensed to practice
