11 The "Ars HUNGARICA" cultural program is concentrated on seven days during a week. Each day bears the name of a distinguished personality of the Hungarian culture that started or developed his career in Sibiu. Borsos Miklós He was born in 1906 in Sibiu and until he was sixteen years old he lived in Sibiu. Kós Károly -He spent his childhood in Sibiu, which architecture influenced his future works. Barabás Miklós -He spent his holidays in Sibiu. Nyirő József -He was vicar of the Roman Catholic Church Petőfi Sándor -During the fight for independency he spent some time also in Sibiu. Bartók Béla -In 1922 he successfully participated in chorus concert competition. Bodor Mária -Textile and design artist from Sibiu. The organizers reserve their right to change the program. 12 site. Ars HUNGARICA Entrances There will be three types of arm-bands available for the public: for an entire week, for four (4) days, for one day. You can buy these tickets between the period of 11 th of July and 10 th of August at the announced places on our website (in other towns than Sibiu, too). You will be able to exchange the tickets with the arm-bands at the places where the events take place between the 19 th and 26 th of August.
