2 OVER 30 YEARS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE The most important features of the firm of Rommel are on the one hand the over 30 years of experience, and on the other the employee's dedication to improving customer service. Reliability, responsibility and a willingness to serve play an important role here. Examples of core services include professional counselling or the drafting of technical drawings. Jürgen Rommel GmbH is primarily involved in the manufacture and sales of elastomer and plastic moulded parts. This also includes the design and production of vulcanising and injection moulds. Our current sales program comprises over 10,000 parts made to specific customer drawings. From the very beginning, our goal has been to offer our customers professional advice and support, so that the firm of Rommel has become a reliable partner for local industries. The firms of Atlas Copco, Bauknecht, Bosch, Daimler-Chrysler, Kärcher, Porsche, Stihl and Thyssen, to name but a few, have all classified us as "Asuppliers". 01/10

3 COMPANY HISTORY AND MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES The firm of Jürgen Rommel was founded in as a technical wholesaler and export company for industrial rubber and plastic products in Waiblingen. The sales program initially covered the "classical articles of a technical retailer's", such as drive elements, hoses, seals, rubber plates, semi-finished plastic products and rubbermetal elements. In 1982 the company moved into new offices, storage and laboratories in Schwaikheim. In 1992 the sole proprietor business was turned into a partnership. The business activity of the firm of Rommel currently concentrates on the technical development and design as well as manufacture and sales of special parts of elastomer and plastic qualities. As a manufacturer of serial products, we are well aware of our customers' high quality requirements. A central management principle of the Jürgen Rommel GmbH is the continuous improvement of our existing quality management system. Our QM system has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since June, /10

7 QUALITY MANAGEMENT ACCORDING TO DIN EN ISO 9001 The Quality Management-System at Jürgen Rommel GmbH has been certified. since 1998 The QM-certification was carried out according to the Darlegungsmodell der DIN EN ISO 9001 The audit itself was officially performed by the "Verein für Qualität im Handwerk und in der gewerblichen Wirtschaft e.v.", or ZDH-Zert for short. Die ZDH-ZERT is a certification office for quality and environmental management systems accredited by the Baden-Württemberg Trade Guild. The headquarters of the ZDH-ZERT are in Bonn. The certification for the firm of Rommel is recorded under the Register-No. Q Moreover, it is our endeavour to make the existing quality management system particularly customer-friendly.
