You have to complete 4 sections online: Please review the instructions carefully before completing each required item. Mobility details: In this section you have to select the courses you want to take at UNAM. To search for UNAM courses online, go to You can choose five courses per semester. You can select courses from different majors and different Plantel or Entidad Académica. For the Spring term (January-June) you have to choose only the even number semesters (2, 4, 6, etc.). It is important to choose courses only from SISTEMA ESCOLARIZADO. **UNAM s site can be very difficult to navigate. If you are having trouble navigating the UNAM website, you can contact the Academic Specialist at UCEAP, Monica Rocha, at or at mrocha@eap.ucop.edu or look for approved courses in the MyEAP course catalog. For questions about completing the UNAM Online Application, please contact the UCEAP Operations Specialist, Monica Reynolds at or mreynolds@eap.ucop.edu List at least 5 courses per semester. If you plan to take courses in multiple faculties, list at least one course in each faculty. Be aware that some faculties are in different locations in Mexico, so you will need to check the locations of the faculties when considering which you will apply to. You will focus on faculties at the Ciudad Universitaria campus. Please complete and scan the attached form utilizing any and all past university-level transcripts. 7) Commitment letter by student to buy international medical insurance if accepted. Attached is the letter you have to complete and upload. Some other fields in the UNAM Online Application can be confusing. Please take a look at these helpful tips: Numero de matricula - input your student ID number Numero de semester actual List which term you are currently in. For instance, if you are currently in the first semester of your senior year, you would be in your 7th semester. Numero total de semestres en la Carrera - List the total number of terms for your degree, so if you will earn your degree in 4 years, the total will be 8 semesters. Promedio actual input your current GPA Numero total de creditos de la Carrera - List the total number of units required for your degree. For instance, if you will have a total of 190 units when you have completed all of your requirements to graduate, you will list 190 here. Numero de creditos cursados a la fecha - List the total number of units that you have completed towards the total of your degree. 3 * Statement of Purpose This should be a one-page essay written in Spanish describing your motives for studying in Mexico and specifically at UNAM. State how studying at UNAM will contribute to your academic development and list what area(s) of study you will focus on at UNAM (i.e. Communication, Political Science, Literature, etc.). Take the time to ensure that your essay is well-written in Spanish without grammatical or correspondence errors. Don't forget to include accent marks. Consider having the essay proof read by a tutor before submitting it, as this essay will be reviewed by UNAM and can determine whether you will be accepted in your major department at UNAM. This essay is NOT a translation of your English Statement of Purpose and if it does not pertain specifically to UNAM you will be asked to rewrite it.
