13 Cloud Storage Overview The platform implements a remotized storage service with a client software for the FSS File Sync & Share and remote folder. The access is safe from all the fixed and mobile devices and allows the customer to self-manage the storage space to be assigned to the single users (user profiling) The service consists in a backup of the workstations and servers automatically connected to MN s Cloud Storage

14 Cloud Storage Main Components MN Cloud Storage allows customers to automatically backup both workstations and servers connected to MN s Cloud Storage Platform. The platform allows the remote data storage and the use of a software client to share files among multiple users as well as synchronize their data with the cloud storage platform. Storage Space - The Storage will be provided through Cloud with a Web-Portal to be accessed via Public Internet. The data located in the storage space are protected through redundancy mechanisms that allow data to keep their integrity even in case of 2 discs collapse at the same time. Web-Portal - The service includes a web portal for centralized management and usage of cloud storage services. Through the portal, the customer can manage the provisioning, the user accounts, storage quotas, as well as the monitoring and the reporting. The portal supports a service management with multiple levels of responsibility (Multi-Tier Management). The service also includes a management portal called Team Portal that allows to manage customers system administrator (Admin) and end users (end-user). Licensing Agents - software agents with functionalities of backup/recovery, file sync & share, Collaboration and Mobile Access. The customer will have to download License Agents by connecting to the Team Portal. These licenses are divided into: Cloud Workstation Agent, Cloud Server Agent and Mobile App.

15 Cloud Storage Main Functionalities Cloud drive Each user belonging to the customer organizations can upload/download their files to/from its own cloud folder, the files can be shared both ad-hoc and within designated project teams. Users can access their files from anywhere, using a browser, or apps for mobile platforms. Cloud agent for backup/restore By installing a client backup agent users can schedule an automatic backup from their workstation (windows OS) to the web-portal. The data are maintained in the web-portal according to the backup-retention-policy subscribed by the customer. It is possible to backup a group of files or an entire disk-image. By installing a server backup agent it is also possible to backup data from a windows or linux server. Folder synchronization the same client SW agent allow users to synchronize (through the Cloud-Web-Portal) the same folder between different client devices
