2 Brian Caron Brian Caron, Assistant General Counsel, oversees the recruitment, training and supervision of our nationwide attorney network. Brian joined Hyatt Legal Plans in 2006 as Assistant Counsel. Previous to Hyatt Legal Plans, he was the owner of a fullservice law firm located in Cleveland, OH. He also served as a Hyatt Legal Plans Panel Attorney during that time. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Public Policy from Case Western Reserve University, and a Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Charles Johnson Charles R. Johnson presently holds the position of Secretary-Treasurer of the Boston Teachers Union. He is in his second term, and chairs the BTU s Prepaid Legal Plan. Prior to this position, he was on the Executive Board of the Union for more than twenty years. His tenure in the classroom spans thirty-five years, thirty years as an automotive technology instructor and several as an English language arts teacher. Keri Prince Keri C. Prince joined Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc., now LegalShield, as its first General Counsel in She manages the company s corporate legal matters, including litigation, corporate and regulatory affairs. She also serves as an advisor to the company s executive management team. Prior to joining LegalShield in Ada, Oklahoma, she was an associate attorney at Crowe & Dunlevy in Oklahoma City and at Hunton & Williams in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she specialized in commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation and creditor s rights and bankruptcy.

3 Nicolle Schippers Nicolle has been a member of API for 5 years, during which time she has presented at the API Annual Meeting several times and was a participant in the API Summit in Denver in She has been corporate counsel of ARAG for 5 years. In her role at ARAG, in addition to her legal duties, Nicolle manages the Regulatory Compliance team which creates all plan documents, manages broker/agent/agencies contracts and commissions and ensures all state and federal regulatory requirements are met for ARAG s products, companies and Network Attorneys. Nicolle also manages the Provider Relations Management Team to ensure all prospective and current network attorneys needs are met as well as to effectively negotiate and place referrals with out of network attorneys. In her role, Nicolle also evaluates contracts and all attorney communications and processes to develop more user friendly tools and resources and continually looks for ways to expand the legal insurance industry. Gerald Pat Monks Pat Monks is the president of Group Legal Services Association (GLSA), serving on the Board of Directors since 2009, and serving as chair of the Membership committee. He has been an active participant in the legal plan business for over 20 years. He is also active in his local bar association, and serves as an election judge in Clear Lake, Texas.

4 Stephen Ginsberg Stephen Ginsberg is the Executive Director of the Unifor Legal Services Plan ( ULSP ), formerly the Canadian Auto Workers Legal Services Plan, which provides benefits to 87,000 active and retired members employed at GM, Ford, Chrysler and thirty other Unifor-represented workplaces in Canada. ULSP delivers legal services using its own staff offices and a panel of approximately 1,000 Co-Operating Lawyers, who agree to charge fees in accordance with the ULSP Fee Schedule. Stephen has been involved in all aspects of ULSP operations since its inception in Stephen has been active in the API for over twenty years, is a former API President, and currently serves on the API Conference Committee. Stephen received his B.A. from the University of Toronto and his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario. He was called to the Bar in1977, practised criminal law and family law in Toronto, and was Counsel to the Metropolitan Toronto police Complaints Board prior to joining the ULSP. Lawrence Stahl Lawrence Stahl received a BA from Queen s College of the City University of New York in 1971, and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Baltimore Law School in A former Assistant State s Attorney for Baltimore, he was an active practitioner for 37 years, during which he represented members of some 15 national and regional legal plans. In January 2011, he was appointed Administrative Law Judge of Baltimore County, Maryland.

6 Lt. Michael Walker Lt. Walker serves as staff attorney working for Staff Judge Advocate for Commander Ninth Coast Guard District, a 1-star Admiral. He is essentially an in-house counsel for Admiral and staff elements for the District. Practice encompasses military justice (courts-martial), advising investigations, conducting ethics reviews, advising on real property transactions, reviewing memoranda of agreement, real-time advice to tactical and law enforcement operations, international law, intelligence operations and oversight.

10 Ashley Hallene Ashley Hallene received her J. D. from University of Houston Law Center in Here she received the Lex Award in Legal Analysis, Research and Communication and in Real Property. She received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Houston where she also received the University of Houston Alumni President s Award. She has been published in the American Bar Association GP Solo Magazine and the TechnoLawyer Newsletter. Ashley takes an active role in leadership, serving on the Book Publications Board for the American Bar Association Solo, Small Firm, and General Practice Division, as well as the Editorial Board for GP Solo Magazine and the GP Solo ereport. Jeffrey Allen Jeffrey Allen is a principal in the law firm of Graves & Allen, in Oakland, California. He runs a general practice that, since 1973, has emphasized negotiation, structuring and documentation of real estate acquisitions, loans and other business transactions, receiverships, and related litigation. His litigation experience focuses on real estate and business matters, but it also includes a variety of torts and personal injury matters. He regularly represents both plaintiffs and defendants. 13 Clifford Rhodes Mr. Rhodes received his bachelor s degree from the University of Iowa where he was a University Honors Scholar. In 1992, Mr. Rhodes received his. J.D. from the University of Iowa, College of Law graduating with distinction, and serving as a member of the Iowa Law Review. Mr. Rhodes served as an Assistant Utah Attorney General, where he received the State of Utah Award for outstanding service. He has also served as a prosecutor and most recently served as counsel for the Cambridge Health Alliance and has appeared extensively before the EEOC, the MCAD, and the UADD (Utah s equivalent to MCAD), as well as before state and federal courts in Utah and Massachusetts. In addition, Mr. Rhodes has testified and argued before legislative subcommittees on labor and employment issues. Mr. Rhodes concentrates in litigation, labor and employment benefits law with both private and public sector clients.

14 Philip Aurbach Mr. Aurbach concentrates his efforts on commercial litigation relating to real estate, contracts and partnership/corporate disputes including receivership, fiduciary duty and dissolution cases. His practice, to a lesser degree, has focused on arbitration and mediation solutions for over 20 years. After growing up in Las Vegas, Mr. Aurbach graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1973 in Business Administration with a Finance emphasis. BEESLEY Judge Beesley was sworn in as a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Nevada on January 3, Judge Beesley was a practicing attorney for approximately 30 years, specializing in bankruptcy and civil litigation matters. He began doing bankruptcy work in approximately He represented creditors committees, trustees, debtors and creditors in bankruptcy. Judge Beesley s practice also included civil and business litigation, and expert advice or testimony regarding bankruptcy and secured transactions. He has taught and been a presenter at several seminars regarding various bankruptcy related topics and has been co-author on several articles in business publications. Judge Beesley was certified in creditors rights by the American Board of Certification in He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and a board member of the Southwest Bankruptcy Conference. 16 Billie Tarascio Billie Tarascio is the owner of Modern Law located throughout the greater Phoenix area of Arizona. Leigh McMillian Leigh McMillan is the Vice President of Marketing overseeing Avvo s, marketing, communications and business unit management. Prior to joining Avvo, she spent a number of years at Marchex, a leading call advertising provider, most recently as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company s Call Analytics business. Before joining Marchex, Leigh held leadership positions at a number of technology companies including Pure Networks (acquired by Cisco), WildTangent, and RealNetworks, where she led the launch of several flagship products during her tenure. 19 P. Gregory Giordano Mr. Giordano is a partner in the firm's Gaming practice group. His practice focuses on the areas of gaming law, specifically publicly traded corporations and regulatory compliance, administrative law and procedures and antitrust law. Mr. Giordano served with the Nevada State Gaming Control Board from 1989 to 1993 as the Chief of the Corporate Securities Division. In that position, he oversaw licensing investigations, analysis and monitoring of publicly traded corporations associated with Nevada gaming licensees. 20 Noah Davis Noah Davis received his B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) where he attended on a football scholarship. After graduating from UCA in 1995, Noah went on to the University of Arkansas School of Law where he graduated with honors in Following law school and a brief stint as a judicial law clerk with the Arkansas Court of Appeals, Noah traveled to Australia where he worked towards a Master s degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne. William Go Bill is a former law professor and college professor, as well as being a practicing attorney for thirty years. The principal of Go and Associates, a California Law firm that specializes in handling legal plans, Bill has been an active participant in API. In addition to his legal practice, Bill has been very active in the "Bar Review Industry", helping to prepare thousands of law students to sit for Bar Exams throughout the country. Lawrence Stahl Lawrence Stahl received a BA from Queen s College of the City University of New York in 1971, and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Baltimore Law School in A former Assistant State s Attorney for Baltimore, he was an active practitioner for 37 years, during which he represented members of some 15 national and regional legal plans. In January 2011, he was appointed Administrative Law Judge of Baltimore County, Maryland.

26 Robert H. Bancroft Robert H. Bancroft practices law throughout the State of Michigan. He was born and raised in Fenton, Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He subsequently attended Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University where he graduated with honors in In 1987, he attended New York University, the preeminent legal tax program in the country, where he received a masters in law (LLM). He also authored a chapter on taxation for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, a publication service used by lawyers throughout the State.
