6 Good things to do to help you get ready to be a successful teacher Tutor Math Help Center, CBMP (Computer Based Mastery Program) for Math 095, volunteer at Boys & Girls Club, get on the departmental tutor list (see Linda in AME 209) Get involved SDSU CTM, Math Club, or some other student organization Learn to think about studying math differently don t just learn it for the test and forget. Learn for understanding as you will need to pass the Math Praxis (for teaching certificate), and your students will look toward you as the expert.
