3 Sarv Saravanan Sarv Saravanan is the Senior Vice President & General Manager of EMC Centers of Excellence in Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) and is based in Bangalore. Sarv Saravanan Senior Vice President & General Manager, EMC Centers of Excellence (APJ) With close to 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Sarv oversees operations for all EMC Centers of Excellence (COE) in APJ, currently across Bangalore, India; Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu in China. These Centers of Excellence play a critical role in advancing EMC s vision and leadership in Cloud Computing, Big Data and Trusted IT, and in supporting its global growth strategy. The COEs are central to EMC s globalization goals and Sarv is responsible for scaling and evolving the COEs, by accelerating local innovation through customer engagement and building products and service offerings for emerging markets. His mandate is to leverage COE capabilities and assets across APJ to accelerate revenue, incubate global service offerings, increase local market connect and impact, and drive superior customer experience and opportunities for EMC. Sarv has also held various technical and business leadership roles within EMC, with over seven years as the Managing Director for EMC India COE and additionally as the head of the EMC Egypt COE. Sarv joined EMC from Microsoft where he held diverse roles, including, Director, India Enterprise Business and MD, Microsoft Global Services Center & Microsoft IT Center India. With 22+ years of experience, Sarv also had stints as Head of Retail Banking Technology for a major bank in the Middle East, Product R&D engineer in an MNC in the US and Lecturer in Computer Science at PSG Coimbatore. Sarv has a Masters in Computer Sciences and his interests include traveling, golf and community activities. He contributes to under-privileged children s education and believes in the power of technology for socio-economic transformation.

4 Anand Ghatnekar Anand Ghatnekar Senior Director, CTD - Data Protection Group and GM Pune, EMC India COE With over 20 years of experience in the software industry, Anand brings with him rich experience working in senior level engineering management positions, with startups and leading technology companies, in both India and the US including Symantec, Iron Mountain Digital and Computer Associates. He has also held global positions for product engineering in geographically dispersed organizations, and has helped establish engineering centers in U.S, India and China, that are focused on product delivery, technical customer support and business development. Prior to joining EMC, Anand served as Director, Engineering at Symantec, India at their Pune facility, leading a team of over 300, for the NetBackup product line. Before joining Symantec, Anand was heading India operations for Iron Mountain Digital. He has also previously served as a Director at Computer Associates leading the ArcServe engineering group, in the US. He was instrumental in driving the ArcServe product OEM and partner strategy. Anand has a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Gulbarga University, India and also holds a Master s degree in Computer Science from Boston University, USA

5 Chandrasekar Krishamurthy Responsible for EMC professional services & enterprise support teams at India CoE, Chandra is also part of India COE Leadership Team. His focus in this role is to drive world class Global Delivery for EMC s Services Division while improving TCE for EMC customers. Chandrasekar Krishamurthy Vice President, Global Services and Exec. Sponsor P3, EMC India COE Chandra brings over 22 years of IT experience to this role, with a strong track record of producing business results managing global teams across multiple locations. Most recently, as vice president of CGI s Consulting Services organization and delivery lead for the CGI India Global Delivery Center, he was responsible for service delivery across multiple technology domains. He collaborated closely with the company s global services teams and clients to help drive business growth, value excellence, and client satisfaction. Previously, Chandra held leadership positions in product engineering, sales, and consulting at Oracle Corporation, Sierra Atlantic, and Wipro Limited. He has worked in multiple geographies across the United States, Canada, Europe, and India in various capacities including technical,consulting and managerial roles. Chandra holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Enterprise Management from IIM, Bangalore, and a bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering from BITS, Pilani.

6 Debashis Patnaik Debashis Patnaik Senior Director, Human Resources, EMC India COE Debashis Patnaik is the Human Resource Leader for the EMC India Center of Excellence (COE) based out of Bangalore, India. He spearheads the HR practice at India CoE and his responsibilities include the HR Business partner function; employee development; inclusion & diversity; compensation and benefits; staffing and all aspects of people strategy. He reports to the Vice President of Human Resources for WW COEs and IT. Debashis brings with him over two decades of experience from the Human Resource field. He is passionate about partnering with the business to drive business excellence and creating an environment of total employee engagement. He has successfully worked in start-up, high growth and turn around environments, driven organization design; dabbled in leadership development; consulted with clients spread across geographies to strategically partner on Talent Management and People Strategy. Debashis joined EMC from Cisco where he was the Director & HR Business Partner for Service Sales group for Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific. In this role, he set up a global enterprise technical support center at Bangalore and implemented a new organization for Emerging Market Technical Support Services. He was involved in driving the change management design and process to create a part of the Smart+Connected Communities (S+CC; the solutions) organization. Prior to Cisco, he was with Microsoft India for over nine years. He started out in the Sales, Marketing and Services Group and later established, set up and led HR at the Global Technical Support Center and the Research Lab at Bangalore. Debashis holds a bachelor s degree in Commerce from Ravenshaw College, Cuttack and a degree in Law from Campus Law Center, University of Delhi.

7 Kunal Ruvala Kunal has been with EMC since July He leads the RSA engineering organization in the India Center of Excellence. Kunal Ruvala Senior Director, Engineering RSA, EMC India COE Kunal worked for several years in Hopkinton and then relocated to Bangalore in mid Over the years he has played several technical and management roles in organizations focused on providing Storage solutions, Management software and now Security Solutions. He is passionate about building high performing organizations with a focus on people development. He has a Bachelor s degree in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University, a Master of Science (Electrical Engineering) from Penn State University and an MBA from Northeastern University, Boston.

8 Niranjan Thirumale Niranjan leads Growth & Innovation at EMC India COE. He incubates advanced research and technology development projects and offers technology leadership to emerging markets initiatives. Under his leadership, the Center for Transformational Innovations (CeTI) aims to transform nation-scale issues like Healthcare by bringing the ecosystem together to build innovative end-to-end solutions. Niranjan Thirumale CTO, EMC India COE Niranjan, an Engineer in Computer Science from IIT-Madras, holds an M.S. and Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

9 Sanjay Rajasekhar Sanjay Rajasekhar heads the Smarts Global Engineering team of Advanced Software Division (ASD) organization and represents ASD India org in the COE Leadership Team. Sanjay Rajasekhar Senior Director, Engineering, Advanced Software Division (ASD), EMC India COE Sanjay has been with EMC for over 4 years now and is credited for his leadership in turning around a flagship product line Smarts Service Assurance Suite. He now leads the Smarts Engineering team across US and India. Prior to joining EMC, Sanjay served as the Director of Professional Services and R&D at INTEC Telecom Systems, Bangalore, after completing his stint of 11 years with Nortel Networks in Richardson, Texas, where he held various leadership positions. Sanjay brings over 18 years of experience in architecting, engineering and delivering real-time, mission-critical software solutions in IT, Telecom, Datacom and Wireless Access domains. Sanjay has a Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering from University of Texas, Arlington and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University.

10 Shailendra Ravi Shailendra Ravi Senior Director, Emerging Markets, EMC India COE Shailendra currently leads the Emerging Markets initiative from EMC India Centre of Excellence. Prior to this he was leading the global services initiatives. He was also recently appointed as a board. member by the HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) Asia Pacific India chapter. With over 19 years of experience in the areas of global delivery management in India,business consulting, and sales & GTM activities in the US, Shailendra has spent nearly 14 years at TCS, did a brief stint at IBM as the business solutions head for the media and entertainment vertical, and headed the India operations of Gameshastra Pvt Ltd. Over the course of his career, Shailendra has developed expertise in the areas of management and IT, including setting up delivery centers, strategic planning, operations, management oversight of client engagements, as well as consultative sales and marketing of services and solutions. Shailendra has an MS in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Texas and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University.

11 Sridharan Sankaran Sridharan Sankaran, Sr. Director Product Development is with EMC Bangalore since December He leads Enterprise Content Division (ECD) products, solutions group and consulting operations in the India Center of Excellence (COE). Sridharan Sankaran Senior Director, Product Development ECD, EMC India COE Sridharan has over 35 years experience in the software industry with some of the world s leading organizations including HP, Verifone, Oracle, Hinditron & the Department of Atomic Energy. He has worked on various leadership, management and technical roles in his career and led/managed teams working on product engineering in content management, payment systems, middleware and software projects spanning message switching systems, networking and communication software, real time operating systems, compilers, laboratory automation and banking applications software. He has the Bachelor s (Honours) degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from the P.S.G. College of Technology, Coimbatore, Madras University and Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Sridharan is a member of the IEEE Computer Society and the IEEE Engineering Management Society.

12 Srikripa Srinivasan Srikripa Srinivasan Senior Director, Finance, EMC India COE Srikripa, Senior Director, Finance, India COE has more than 20 years of strong Finance and leadership experience in various industry sectors, having worked on both local and global assignments. She joined EMC after a seven-year tenure at Microsoft India, where she last served as Finance Controller for India. She joined Microsoft as India Compliance lead and was instrumental in setting up their Compliance Office. She was later responsible for bringing controllership to Microsoft worldwide standards including SOX 404, Statutory Accounting, Statutory, Tax and Policy Compliances, Payroll, management of Outsourced Partners, Treasury, to name a few. Prior to that, Srikripa was with GE Capital as Vice president -Finance, where her major achievements include setting up of their Bangalore premise, heading Business Finance for the largest part of GE Capital revenue in India and driving budgets for all high-end CoEs. Srikripa started her career with Pricewaterhouse Coopers Audit and Business Services group. A secondment at Glaxo Smithkline (erstwhile Smithlike Beecham) gave Srikripa exposure to areas ranging from Business/Factory operations to Financial Planning/Analysis, Accounting, Payroll and Taxation.

13 Tarun Sareen Tarun Sareen leads the EMC IT Centers of Excellence - APJ, and runs the Global Delivery Program of EMC IT organization. He is also EMC IT APJ Theater Leader responsible for leading and evangelizing EMC IT s own ongoing transformation journey with EMC s customers, partners and industry and helping accelerate business growth. Tarun is responsible for building the IT globalization strategy and processes required for global expansion. Tarun Sareen Head EMC IT - APJ and APJ Theater Lead EMC Corporation Tarun s key focus areas are driving and maturing end to end IT solutions and services development and delivery and infrastructure management services towards running IT as a Business and delivering IT as a Service (ITaaS). Further he and his team are focused on architecting for the future by undertaking the journey to cloud, big data and trust. He has played a critical role in building a culture of quality and enhancing the customer experience globally for EMC. Tarun also engages with EMC IT s key partners. Tarun s experience includes building high performance global IT centers, developing global leaders and developing and supporting IT solutions and services for diverse businesses. Tarun is passionate about customers and building and leading a world-class, benchmark IT organization. Active in customer and industry forums, Tarun also participates in the Cloud Editorial Board (CIOL) and represents EMC in NASSCOM Global In-house Centers Council. Prior to joining EMC, Tarun led the middleware and e-delivery channels for emerging markets for Barclays. He was responsible for launching Internet Banking and Mobile Banking for Barclays commercial and retail banking customers across all international and emerging markets. Before Barclays, Tarun was a part of Microsoft IT India leadership team, where he started up and ran multiple business units and COEs in India responsible for delivering IT solutions world-wide for Microsoft s various business groups. Prior to Microsoft, Tarun set up and ran the India IT center for General Electric Aircraft Engines delivering to seven business units/coes and also led six sigma and compliance. Before joining GE, Tarun was a Senior Consultant at Cap Gemini Inc. Tarun received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Marquette University, USA, and his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from V.J.T.I, India.

14 Umesh N V Umesh is currently heading the India Shared Services Center and is accountable for the delivery and financial performance of the overall organization. He is also responsible for providing strategic oversight related to budgets, business analytics, operational metrics, cost forecasts and strategic planning initiatives. Additionally, Umesh is focused on service delivery excellence by sponsoring LSS initiatives, which deliver efficiency and value to the organization at large, enhancing the service infrastructure tools to include performance dashboards. Umesh N V Senior Director, India Shared Service Center, EMC India COE Umesh also focuses on building and strengthening BU relationships and developing new business opportunities for growth & expansion for the ISSC teams. Apart from GBS, Umesh also oversees some of the other finance and operations groups with resources based at the India COE. This is with the intent to ensure equity by promoting crossfunctional career opportunities for all employees while being matrixed to the ISSC. Umesh joined EMC India COE in 2007 as the Director of Finance and Operations and was also responsible for the India Shared Services team before it became GBS. Umesh was part of the team which enabled rapid growth in the India COE. He was fully involved with the building investment and growth/migration project which has delivered a state of the art building for India COE. Before joining EMC, Umesh was employed with ANZ Banking Group in India in their Technology Center for over 11 years. He worked in various capacities as their CFO and Senior Controller and has held Finance, Purchasing, Facilities and Operations roles while at ANZ. Umesh is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Commerce Graduate. He has over 24 years of post qualification experience in various capacities in Finance and Operations areas. He is also an active cricket player and loves to spend the weekends playing cricket as well as learning golf.
