1 COMPANY PR OF ILE BRIEF C O M P A N Y H I S T O R Y Introduction I.T.EX QUALITY SERVICES ( ITEX ) was established in the 1994 as a technical inspection organisation with the purpose of ensuring and provide high quality services to all customers, fulfilling their requirements with the provision of quality solutions in the most effective cost way. The rendered activities & services were addressed mainly, but not limited, to Petrochemical & Gas Plants, Power Plants, Nuclear Plants, Industrial Goods, Onshore Production, Offshore Production and Processing Facilities. ITEx has been founded by a group of managers, engineers and technicians coming from an experience of more than 30 years in the same fields. The juridical status of I.T.EX QUALITY SERVICES is the S.r.l. (Limited), with the Head Office based in, San Donato Milanese, Milan with operative offices both in & Worldwide. ITEx has a staff of approximately 500 people, both exclusive and non-exclusive Inspectors & Engineers. The majority of them are University graduate engineers who have had special training enabling them to survey construction of goods ensuring their high level in terms of integrity, quality, reliability and safety. ITEx was and is involved in major Offshore and Onshore field development in, Mediterranean Sea Countries, North Sea Countries, Indonesia, Malaysia, Middle East, Arabian Gulf Countries, Mar Caspian and Russia Countries (including Ex Russia regions like Kazakhstan etc.), Australian Areas Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean etc.. For certification/inspection services offshore/onshore installations ITEx was appointed either by the petroleum companies or by the engineering contractors. The Company was entrusted by Saipem (ENI Group) for the management, surveillance, inspection and certification (TPI) of a big part of the Italian Platforms based in the Adriatic Sea up to the Sabratha Platform placed in front of Libya. Other platforms both materials and construction were followed by Society on behalf of other engineering companies from North Sea to the Pacific Ocean, including their upgrading and modifications. 2 / 6

3 Based on the experience the Company has, ITEx has been entrusted by major engineering companies with inspection of vessels and piping of the sour gas treatment plant and their components. Pipelines In connection with Onshore and Offshore projects, pipelines were manufactured and installed for transportation of hydrocarbons; gas, oil, residual of treatment services and/or for transportation to treatment facilities and further distribution to Customers. Mediterranean Sea Sicily Channel Etc. Many thousand Km of both carbon steel, duplex and clad pipelines were inspected and certified during their construction and assembling. Different welding technologies and systems were used to realize pipelines that can be summarised mainly in SMLS pipes, ERW, mechanically bonded of combined C.S./Duplex or S.S., Longitudinal SAW, Spiral SAW with diameter up to 48 for pipelines and up to 80 for service pipelines, and steel grades up to X80 (Experimental Project Pipeline for SNAM S.p.A.-ENI Group). FPSOs, Drilling Vessels, Pipe-Laying Ships / Lay Barges, etc. Specific experience has been acquired in the last years in the construction of FPSOs, for which I.T.Ex has been selected by international engineering companies or end users like Saipem Corporate, to manage, to coordinate, to survey and to inspect fabrication of FPSOs Mystras Citade de Vitoria, Gimboa Aquila Phase II etc..the acquired know-how has been shared 3 / 6

4 with Saipem involved people and allowed I.T.Ex to improve training of own personnel ( inspectors, engineers and expediters) dedicated to this sector of activities. I.T.Ex has been and is involved in the construction and continuous upgrade of ships like Saipem 7000, Castoro 6, Scarabeo 5, Scarabeo 7, Scarabeo 9, Castoro 16 etc. Currently, I.T.Ex is involved in the management and execution of coordination, inspection, expediting and QC activities of Scarabeo 8, Castorone (ex New PLV) & Aquila II vessels construction within, Europe, America & Asia. The I.T.Ex provided services include also the production surveillance, inspection and QA/QC project/job management of drill pipes and tools supplies for various drill companies. Umbilicals, Flexible Flow Lines, Submarine Cables (Power and Optical Fibre Cables), Mooring Ropes I.T.Ex, strictly connected with the management, coordination, construction surveillance and inspection of off-shore platforms, FPSOs, Sea-lines etc., has developed specific know-how and experience in the surveillance, inspection and testing of umbilicals (thermoplastic and steels ) manufacturing, including their laying. Steels Umbilicals, Flexible Flow Lines, Submarine Cables and Mooring Ropes experience was gained especially in, Europe and USA countries for Various projects, including Mwafi & Foukanda, Mystras, Citade de Vitoria, Kashagan Projects, etc., while about Thermoplastic Umbilicals the main experience was acquired especially in the North Europe and America (South North) Countries. Services during Materials/Goods Loading & Unloading Within the above mentioned services ITEx provide materials loading / unloading surveillance and inspection & control of materials quality status before taking in charge for further construction activities. ITEx provide also on board ( ship- vessels ) inspection and testing services (Welding, NDT, Coating, QA/QC Coordination etc.) with expert technicians and inspectors to survey and/or certify off-shore pipeline construction and laying, jackets installation, vessels modifications and/or upgrading. Mentioned personnel are properly qualified and adequately HSE trained and certified (OPITO, BOISIET or equivalent).
