1 Quota Version 3.0 September 2015 Launch Quota is the quotation system for the Myriad, Investo, Wealth, Will and Health products of Momentum. It is a desktop application for the Windows platform and can be installed from the MDSOnline website. What has changed and what is new? Myriad Myriad 17 changes to the critical illness, income protection and impairment benefits. The critical illness changes introduced with this release include: - The existing comprehensive critical illness benefits range has been replaced with the new complete critical illness benefits range. This means that the following critical illness benefits will be available for selection at new business: o Complete Critical Illness Benefit o o Complete Enhanced Critical Illness Benefit Specified Claim Event Enhancer (available as rider benefit to Complete Critical Illness Benefit) The income protection changes introduced with this release include: - The name change on the Business Protector to Business Protector (Professional) and the addition of a 12-month pay-out period to the business protector (Professional). - The addition of the following new benefits, ancillary benefits and features: o Business Protector (Self-employed) o Temporary Group Income Top-up benefit o Group Income Top-up o Longevity Protector Group Income Top-up o Complete Functional Protector o Income Enhancer benefit o Complete Family Protector Quote Upload to web process has been adjusted to retry later if you did not have an internet connection when you generated the quote report. You can view the reason why a file was not uploaded (see Annexure C for details) Wealth & Investo The latest fund changes and previous updates of v2.2 have been included. Please note that previous versions will no longer be supported..

2 Health 2015 Previous updates of v2.2 and Health2015 rates included. Fiduciary Services Will Include a Will as part of your service offering to your client by following five easy steps. See Annexure E for details. General You can now select the theme you want to use in Quota to change the look you want. Please select a theme under the new Theme menu icon.

3 Installation instructions If you experience any problems during installation, please contact External Technology Service at 0860 WWWWEB ( ). Make sure all programs are closed before installing Quota. If your current installed version of Quota is v2.2.0 (November 2014): Please do not uninstall this version of the application. Install the new version of Quota. Your existing Quota data (e.g. quotations) will be available in the new version. Please follow one of these three options to download and install Quota Option 1: Installation from MDSOnline website Step 1: Download Quota: Select the file on MDSonline: o Login to o Select Sales Tools and then Quotation systems o Right click on Quota V3.0 under New version and select Save target as... After you have selected Save target as.., select a folder on your PC. Click on Save Step 2: Installation To install, double click on your local copy of the setup e.g. QuotaInstall.exe

4 Option 2: Installation from ftp site This option is for users that do not have access to MDSOnline Step 1: Download Quota: Select the file on the FTP site o Ctrl+click on the following link: ftp://ftp.momentum.co.za/quota/rsa/. o Right click on QuotaInstall.exe and select Save target as... After you have selected Save target as.., select a folder on your pc. Click on Save Step 2: Installation To install double click on your local copy of the setup e.g. QuotaInstall.exe

5 Option 3: Installation from Quota CD Run the installer program on the CD and select Quota to download NOTE: You cannot import documents into v3.0 if they were exported from older versions of Quota. The version of Quota used to export the documents MUST be upgraded to v3.0 first and the documents exported again. Do not use the Repair option for Quota II. If you experience problems, contact External Technology Service Helpdesk for assistance. If your current installed version of Quota is v2.1.0 (November 2013) or older please see Annexure A

7 Annexure A: Installation from old version If your currently installed version of Quota is v2.1.0 (November 2013) or older: If you would like to keep your Quota data (e.g. quotations) please contact the External Technology Service Helpdesk for assistance in upgrading to the latest release of Quota. Otherwise, if it is not necessary to keep your saved Quota data uninstall the current version (Select Start Settings Control Panel from your desktop, double click on the Add/Remove Programs icon and select Quota II from the dialog box being displayed click the Remove button) AND delete the actual directory in which you had Quota II installed (default: c:\program Files\Momentum\Q). If you do not delete the directory your version of Quota II may not work properly. Then install v3.0.0 of Quota. Annexure B: Quota Updates Online updates A user can check for availability of online updates at any time, i.e. you do not have to wait for the online updater to perform its hourly update checkif you know that an update has just been released, you can goto Help->Check for updates now... on the system menu. Performing updates from an update file In the event of an user not having an internet connection, Quota also makes it possible to update the system from a file on other kinds of media, such as a USB flash drive (memory stick) or external (USB) hard drive. You can request someone with an internet connection to copy the offline update files from ftp://ftp.momentum.co.za/quota/rsa/ to a memory stick and use that to copy to the PC that does not have internet connection. In order to perform the update from the offline update file, go to Help->Perform update from an update file... on the system menu and select the file to install. Annexure C: Myriad Upload from Quota to Web As in the previous version, quotes drawn via Quota are automatically exported into E-app when an internet connection could be made. This significantly accelerates the capturing process as a case can be captured without re-capturing information such as benefit and insured life details (as an example). In some instances quotes are not successfully uploaded. This is normally due to: The difference between the broker codes on the quote and the codes used to validate on the E-app system. Loss of internet connectivity at the time when an off-line quote is previewed. We have added the screen below so that you can see the reason why a quote was not uploaded to the web under the menu bar icon export.

8 We also added the verify button below for you to verify the intermediary details on the quote when you have an internet connection. If your broker code or brokerage code is not valid the quote will not be uploaded to the web. You can change the broker for the selected quote using the button on the commission payable to screen above. You also need to re-register for your new quotes to be correct. Please see Annexure D on the steps to be followed for re-registration.

9 Annexure D: Quota re-registration steps Step 1: Select Re-register Open Quota Select Quota Tools Options Select the User tab below Click on the Re-register button Step 2: Select intermediary type Select intermediary type Broker and click on the >> button Step 3: Capture broker details Fill in your broker name Fill in your broker code (For Myriad your quotes will only be uploaded if you capture a valid code) Select FSP license

10 Check the I agree that the information supplied here is correct Click on the >> button Step 4: Capture branch Click on the find button to add or select your branch name and code (This is not validated on Quota) Click on the >> button Step 5: Capture broker house Click on the Find button

11 Select your Broker house or click on the Add button on the Broker house screen to add your brokerage. Fill in you valid 6-digit brokerage code (e.g for Namibia) (Myriad quotes: your quotes will only be uploaded if you captured a valid code) Use find to select the branch Fill in the brokerage name Click on the >> button Step 6: Capture marketing advisor detail Click on the find button to add or select your branch name and code (this is not validated on Quota) Step 7: Click on Register. Your registered broker details will now pull through on the new quotes you create
