2 Performance criteria You must be able to: Carry out a Physical Search in the Aviation Security Environment P1 work safely at all times, complying with your organisation s procedures for health and safety P2 identify when a search is required P3 identify the equipment required P4 ensure permission to carry out the search is obtained P5 carry out the search in line with your organisation's procedures P6 identify prohibited/suspect item(s) and take action in line with your organisation s procedures P7 resolve any situations arising within the limits of your own authority P8 confirm completion of the search activities P9 record the results of the search activities in line with your organisation's procedures PPLAGSO11 2
