3 FACTORY AND PLANT DESIGN We produce 3D pre-designing and detailed design for plants and factory areas. The plant design complexes often form from different solutions for processing systems for solids, groups of facilities for process industries, or considering material flows of the factory. From the illustrations and layouts born during the plant design different kinds of subsystems are completed. These subsystems include steel structure, piping and device designs with material flow documentations and technical calculation or material flow consideration analyses. 4 MECHANICAL DESIGN We design different kinds of machines and devices for production needs for several branches of industries. Our special know-how includes solids materials handling associated devices and machines of which mechanics consists of welded structures and the driving power is produced by gear motors, hydraulics and/or pneumatics. The controlling systems for the devices are designed in co-operation with our partners if necessary. Product design In product design the main focuses are in low-cost implementable product structure, product shaping and automatizing the design. The value of the design automatizing comes up in effortless designing of product families and in cost efficient maintenance of design models and drawings. 5 TECHNICAL CALCULATIONS We produce technical calculation services according to the demands of SFS-EN Typical subjects to our technical calculations are lifting accessories, cranes, demanding steel structures, pipe bridges, pressure vessels and piping. FE-analyses We analyze structures employing suitable software, then we use the results to study e.g. the behavior of shell elements in silos and tanks, fatigue stresses in cranes and the stresses in piping. The analyses are controlled by valid norms. FE-analyses contain also studying and evaluating the results. Technical calculation inspector We also operate as an inspector consultant for technical calculations and designs in projects, where participation of a third party is demanded for the designs. We review designs and calculations for grade AA steel structures and steel assemblies in new buildings and renovations. Our special know-how includes strength and stability calculations in serviceability and ultimate limit states, joint considerations and safety in case of fire. 6 DOCUMENTATION We perform auditing machine safety to machines and devices in operation also. According to the law the manufacturer must design and produce a technical device so that the structure, equipment and other properties are such that the device is suitable to the intended use and it does not cause danger to accidents or harm to health in such use. If the danger to accidents or harm to health cannot be otherwise removed sufficiently, necessary protection precautions must be done in the producing of the device. Dangers and harms must be warned efficiently. Personal protective equipment must be efficient against to the dangers it was meant to be protecting from. 7 PROJECT MANAGEMENT We produce the project management or parts of it to our customers also during execution phase. Project management includes overall service packet according to demanded desires. When the designing process proceeds from manufacturing to start-up, large amount of information essential to project management is developed. When we are in charge of project management, the essential information is automatically in our usage without the difficulties in interfaces between different players. 8 MACHINE SAFETY AND CE- MARKING We produce reviews demanded by CE- marking conformities, based on which we produce the required documentation for technical construction file. In addition we produce reviews for auditing safety for devices and structures, and produce material and train staff to safely and efficiently operate devices and systems. According to norms the manufacturer assures with the CE- marking that the machine, device, structure or a part of the production system fulfills the demands of European Union. We produce all the required documents for technical construction file for CE- marking from the design through risk analysis to service and maintenance instructions and technical calculations. Training to safe and efficient use of systems We produce safety auditing reviews from existing devices and structures, based on which modification designs according to standards and regulations are created. The designs can include e.g. covers for the device to establish the safety of the device or strength calculations and strengthening designs of structures. Machines and devices of a modern industrial plant demand from the staff capability to adopt safe and optimal use. To support the staff we produce easily understandable visual material from the use of the device. The training material can consist of detailed operating manual, guide video for operating the device and user training.

9 MEASURING SERVICES We collect and produce as-built information with advanced measuring instruments to support designing and decision-making. Design and investment projects are nearly always associated with built environment. Efficient and high quality results can be achieved with precise and comprehensive preliminary information. We produce comprehensive 3D measuring data with laser scanning, so called point clouds, consisting of tens of millions of points with accuracy up to millimeters. Point clouds can be exploited to various purposes in different stages of projects and can be combined to design data. In addition to point clouds we can measure locations of outdoor targets with accuracy up to centimeters using GNSS-measuring device (GPS & Glonass) and mark locations of the designs to the terrain for inspection.
