2 Overview EcoSteel Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings provide the world s most advanced Eco-friendly construction systems. In our ever expanding product line, we offer solutions for Commercial, Residential, and Multi-Family or Mixed Use projects. Our systems utilize a combination of steel framing wrapped in steel insulated panels. This unique combination provides optimal strength, versatility, and energy efficiency while maintaining the ability to design freely without traditional limitations. EcoSteel uses an exclusive combination of Parametric engineering, design and detailing programs that are embedded in AutoCAD. This format allows for ease of collaboration and communication between all aspects of the design and construction phase. Our pre-engineered steel modeling technology accelerates the creation of 3D elevations and floor plan views, along with construction plans, fabrication drawings, and NC files for automated production. The objective of utilizing this approach is to reduce drafting time and fabrication errors caused by having to make multiple corrections and additions to multiple drawing files, which is common with most any project operating in a CAD environment. Design Flexibility EcoSteel s integrated design approach offers more design flexibility since there are fewer structural limitations than traditional building systems. Superior Energy Efficient, Architecturally Insulated Panels Superior Insulating Value using advanced polyisocyanate core providing enhanced insulation values that significantly lower heating and cooling costs. One Piece Construction process assures rapid completion of the wall and roof system. Factory fabricated composite panels are attached directly to the supporting structure eliminating multiple steps. Faster building completion means reduced construction and interim financing costs. Lightweight Yet Structurally Strong panels weigh only 2 ½ to 3 ½ pounds per square foot, but are structurally strong enough for long spans that can significantly reduce costs for frame support. Ecologically Friendly and Efficient Steel is one of the strongest, most durable and economically manufactured materials on earth. At EcoSteel, we use no rare or endangered plants or materials in any part of our designs. The overall recycling rate in the steel industry is over 75%, which is the highest of any industry in the country. There is typically only 2% waste in steel construction, versus 20% waste found with wood construction. 4 Pricing: EcoSteel system pricing varies depending on project scope and design however as a guideline, custom home square foot pricing is generally in the range of $60-$70 and larger commercial/multi-unit projects typically fall in between $30-$40 a square foot. What is Included With the EcoSteel System As part of your purchase order agreement with EcoSteel, we provide the following plans, documents, materials, and services: Plans and Documents By EcoSteel: Structural plans and details (stamped by a structural engineer) Anchor bolt diagram, with structural calculations and column reactions Erection drawings, cross sections, and details Shop drawings for steel fabrication, bill of materials & product specifications Construction Materials By EcoSteel: All steel red-iron primary structure-i-beam Columns and Horizontal Floor Beams, Rafter Beams and Portal Frames) Secondary Steel Frame: Roof Purlins and Wall Girts, Floor Joists, Interior Light Gauge Stud, Hat Track sections for drywall Finished exterior steel insulated panel roof (achieves approximately R-8 per inch) Finished exterior steel insulated panel walls (achieves approximately R-8 per inch) Interior wall framing with light gage metal studs, ready for drywall Steel interior floor joists & framing for floors and decks above foundations Gutters and downspouts All bolts, screws, fasteners, sealant, and miscellaneous materials Freight to building site EcoSteel project management at critical stages of erection Overview - Page 3

5 What is Not Included EcoSteel provides the detailed engineering, project management and materials to complete a driedin shell and finished exterior. After the shell is completed, you select interiors to fit your vision, taste, and lifestyle. The following plans, documents, materials and services are some of the items you will need to budget for that are not provided by EcoSteel. However, we will consult with your engineers and sub-contractors to educate them on our building systems, provide them with any necessary data or specifications specific to our designs, and provide general assistance in helping them to complete their work.
