2 About Gi Group Gi Group is one of the world s leading companies providing services for the development of the labour market, operating in the fields of temporary and permanent staffing, search and selection, as well as a variety of complementary activities. At the beginning of 2007, Gi Group began its international expansion programme, which has so far taken the Group in to more than 20 countries across Europe, Asia and America. At the end of 2010 Gi Group became a "Global Corporate Member" of CIETT, the International Confederation of Private Employment Agencies. In this role, Gi Group has joined six other human resource multinationals. In 2011 the number of workers hired through Gi Group reached worldwide ( FTE), supplied to over companies. Gi Group internally employed almost people in total and had a worldwide turnover of 1 billion and 158 million Euros. 2

3 History 1998 Birth of Générale Industrielle Générale Industrielle works in the temporary employment business with a network of 20 branches and a turnover of 20 million Euros Gi Group enters the outplacement business (DBM Italia) Gi Group begins its international expansion with acquisitions in Germany and Poland Acquisition of WorkNet, the employment agency of Fiat Group. The new entity becomes the first Italian player, with a turnover of 320 million Euros and 190 branches The turnover reaches 500 million Euros. 3

4 History 2008 Générale Industrielle and WorkNet merge into one brand: Gi Group, the biggest Italian job agency, providing temporary staffing, Search and Selection, training, outplacement, insourcing and outsourcing, HR Consultancy and payrolling. The expansion programme goes on: China and Hong Kong, France, Brazil, Spain and India Gi Group makes an important acquisition in Romania Gi Group makes an important acquisition in the UK market and enters in Eastern Europe. On December 1st, 2011, DBM Italy was rebranded and became INTOO Gi Group establishes a presence in Argentina. At the end of the year Gi Group joins CIETT, the world association of employment agencies, as a Global Corporate Member In 2012 Asset Management, a company specialising in training and staff development systems, became part of the Group. 4
