4 Lars Larsen, Founder and owner Jan Bøgh, President and CEO of JYSK NORDIC JYSK GROUP has its base in Scandinavia: The first store opened in Denmark in Today, JYSK GROUP has more than 2,200 stores and 19,000 employees in 39 countries. In Germany and Austria, the name is Dänisches Bettenlager and JYSK in the rest of the world. JYSK GROUP aims to provide everyone with a Scandinavian offer and has ambitions of gaining a global presence. Behind JYSK GROUP is the company's founder and owner, Lars Larsen, who also owns the furniture retail chains Bolia.com, IDEmøbler and ILVA. The total turnover of the LARS LARSEN GROUP is 3.1 billion euros.

6 Result for the year 2013/14 JYSK GROUP has had the best year ever. The development has been driven by a sharp focus on four key areas: A large investment in internal training programmes. A significant rise in special customer-oriented activities in our stores. A marked increase in marketing investments. A massive investment in e-business and online activities. Our financial year runs from September the 1 st 2013 to August the 31 st The year's figures cover JYSK GROUP only, which is the name we have given to our more than 2,200 JYSK/Dänisches Bettenlager stores. Other investments, such as Bolia.com, ILVA and IDEmøbler, are not included.
