2 What is the Exchange Program? Study one semester in one of UNA s partner universities. Exchange students will pay tuition at UNA; therefore, there will not be disruption of student loans, scholarships, financial aid, etc. Credits will be transferred at the end of the semester through credit evaluation. Classes can be taken in English as well as the host country language and all are eligible for transfer. You will possibly spend less than at UNA since you will have no car expenses, and will pay no UNA fees other than the technology fee

6 Universidad Tecnológica de Bolivar The study abroad initiative allows students from partner universities around the world to directly enroll for one semester, up to twenty credits at UTB. Cartagena de Indias is a fascinating place to study. Declared by UNESCO, a World Cultural Heritage site in 1984.

9 USIL The University San Ignacio de Loyola offers the possibility to study in three different campuses: Lima, Cusco, and Miami. BILINGUAL EDUCATION USIL has developed a curriculum that includes Programspecific courses in English, as well as an intensive English language program, for the purpose of shaping bilingual, entrepreneurial professionals who are able to read and write, conduct research work, prepare cases and master the vocabulary associated with their field of work in English.

10 How to Apply? 1. Four (4) passport photos 2. Curriculum Vitae and Motivation Letter (English or Spanish). 3. Transcripts and grade reports (English or Spanish). Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 or equivalent to be eligible for the program. For the CAE program, high school transcripts should be original. 4. For CAE, online application form (Ficha de datos) and Letter of Commitment. 5. Clear passport copy (valid for the entire period of stay in Peru) 6. Copy of International Health Insurance valid for the entire period of stay in Peru

11 Universidad de Monterrey Study for a semester, a year, or your entire undergraduate or graduate program in the UDEM, one of the best private universities in the north of the country, and experience the best of northern Mexican culture.

12 How to Apply? The documents that need to be enclosed on each student s file are the following (via is ok, no need for hard copies): - Application form - 2 letters of academic recommendation - Copy of passport - Copy of academic transcript - Copy of health insurance (must cover the student through all his stay in Mexico). We can wait for this document until the student has bought his plane ticket, no need to purchase one right now.

14 On-Campus Accommodation Residence halls are fairly new (5 years) and we can offer exchange students a partial discount on a double room (up to 40% discount). Students would only pay $27,308 MXN ($2,023 USD approx.) per semester. Other students choose accommodation offcampus with the help of the International Office

Application must be sent by along with the following documents: Digital (JPG) colored passport photo (5 X 5 cm) Copy of official transcripts Two recommendation letters Autobiography and Intention letter in Spanish Official DELE B2 certificate, if Spanish is not mother language (if not provided, a diagnostic test will be completed upon arrival) List of courses requested (final selection is made upon arrival)

17 Cost of Living Home-stays with Mexican families are available within walking distance of the campus. Plans vary from USD $305 to USD $485 (subject to change). Application deadline is one month before arrival date. Students may do their own housing arrangements, under their full responsibility. Certificate of Spanish proficiency (Letter or Certificate from the home university stating that the student s level of knowledge of the Spanish language is adequate for university studies).

21 Universidad Espiritu Santo The study abroad semester is for students of any discipline that are interested in other cultures and languages, and who wish to have a deeper learning and life experience. The program combines intensive Spanish language instruction, travel and intercultural learning with a wide range of courses in both English and Spanish.
