7 Beyond ROSATTE Towards the end of ROSATTE, it became clear that: o The ROSATTE framework and procedures could contribute to the deployment process of the ITS Directive/ITS Action Plan priority 1.3 o An alignment with the INSPIRE Directive framework would make it easier for the authorities and map makers to exchange ITS data

8 Follow-up ROSATTE emaps Recommendation: Following up on the recommendations; the EU project emaps started in September 2011, with the support of the revived imobility Forum Digital Map Working Group (DMWG) Main goal: At its core the emaps project aims to establish an EU wide independent organization to support the exchange of ITS data between public authorities and map makers or other third parties.
