3 November 1st 8:00-11:00 PM Donations and Volunteers Needed Presales Oct during lunch WILLIAMS HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING 2014 We will kick off homecoming with our first annual homecoming dance on November 1, 2014 from 8:00-11:00 in the Williams High School Cafeteria. Tickets will go on sale Oct. 20 th through Oct. 30 th during lunch. Tickets are $8 for an individual and $15 for a couple in advance. Tickets will be $10 each at the door. If a student is bringing a guest from another school, they must pick up the guest form in the office and have it filled out before they can buy a guest ticket. Guest tickets will NOT be sold at the door. Theme days and other activities will take place the following week with the end being the pep rally and game on Thursday, Nov. 6 th where we will crown a Prince & Princess. We are expecting 400+ kids for a fun and enjoyable night. We need lots of volunteers to make this happen either by donating goods or volunteering your time. We are also looking for gift cards/ prizes to give away during the dance. Items can be dropped off in the office on Friday, October 31 st or on Saturday, Nov. 1 st from 9:00-12:00. 4 Calling all Kroger shoppers!!! Attention Warriors! Beginning today, you can link your Kroger Plus card to Williams to earn cash for our school. Follow the link to register your card online now! Organization # Even if you registered last year, you must link your card again this year. Tom Thumb Shoppers!!! Next time you shop at Tom Thumb, please stop at Customer Service and link the Good Neighbor Number #7012 to your Reward Card and help Williams HS raise funds the easy way. This year we are participating in a hassle-free, new fundraiser called Shapiro. All you need to do is take pictures of your grocery receipts with the Shapiro app for smartphones and tablets. It doesn¹t matter where you shop or what you buy every receipt submitted results in a donation to our school! So what are you waiting for? Simply download the free app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store and then select our school as your chosen cause. Since there is no limit to how much money we can raise with Shapiro, be sure to invite your friends and neighbors to join in every receipt counts! Thank you for supporting these painless PTSA fundraising efforts that benefit our school at no extra cost to you!!!

5 Snack Sales Snack Sales are the biggest fundraiser Williams PTSA conducts. If you are a PTSA member and have a free day or two this year, please consider volunteering to sell snacks to the students. Snacks are sold during lunch time 11:30-1:30. It is an easy and fun way to help our PTSA!! You can sign up for your days at Sign Up Genius. Williams High School is starting a clothing closet on campus in order to help students who are in need of clothing/shoes. We would appreciate gently used clothing and shoe donations for boys and girls of varying sizes and seasons. We will also accept monetary donations in order to purchase items not donated. Needed items include: Shirts/blouses Pants/shorts Sweaters/sweatshirts Coats Shoes Accessories Hangers Please send all donations to Monica Trevino in the College and Career Guidance Center. 6 Dear Parents: I invite you and your family, friends and colleagues to participate with us in the A + Rewards program coordinated by Collin Creek Mall from August 1, May 11, A + Rewards is a special community-driven program committed to building relationships with area schools by awarding $20,000 in cash prizes among participating schools. Our school will earn rewards based on Collin Creek Mall receipts turned in on behalf of the school and through a variety of extra-credit opportunities. Points earned will be divided by our student enrollment in order to allow all schools, regardless of size, to compete fairly. How to Earn Points Each dollar spent at the mall earns our school one point. Receipts will be rounded to the next whole dollar at.51 cents. There will be opportunities to earn double points when shopping at double point retailers and/or on double point shopping days. Extra credit opportunities are available to us, if desired, by listing program information in school newsletters, submitting new member registrations for Our Place (an database program), posting a bulletin board in the school, participating in mall events by being an on-site volunteer or offering a service or attraction, signing up to like Collin Creek on Facebook and mentioning our school name, following the mall on Twitter or for implementing an on-campus Community Service project. How to Redeem Points There are three primary ways for our school to redeem points: A + Rewards Mall Display simply write our school s name on the back of your store or restaurant receipt and place it in the Williams locker at the display in Center Court (lower level near Nestle Toll House Café). Mall Office If you prefer to keep your receipts, stop by the Mall Management Office (upper level near the food court from 8am 5pm M-F) to have your receipt logged, stamped and validated for the school. Participating School drop off your receipt or point pass at the designated area at the school. You can already start earning Bonus Points for Williams now! Post a comment on Collin Creek Mall s Facebook page to tell them what you like about shopping at the mall. Don t forget to mention Williams in your post! We will receive 100 bonus points (limit one posting per day per person). Or, take a photo of yourself and your friends while visiting Collin Creek Mall, them to Saundra.david@rouseproperties.com with a comment on what brought you to the mall and mention Williams, and if the mall posts it to their Facebook page, Williams PTSA will receive 200 Bonus points. A + Rewards is a great way to make shopping at Collin Creek Mall, something special for our school! 7 Collin Creek Mall A+ Rewards Program Help the Williams PTSA earn a share of $20,000 that will be given out by Collin Creek Mall this school year. The program runs Aug. 1, 2014 until May 11, Receipts from any Collin Creek Mall retailer (stores, restaurants, vision care, etc.) dated during that time frame can be submitted for credit. Williams PTSA earns 1 point per dollar that you spend. There are also many ways for us to earn bonus points throughout the school year. If you prefer to keep your receipts, you can stop by the mall office (upstairs behind the food court, open Mon.-Fri. 8:00-5:00) and show them your receipts. Please tell them you are with Williams. They will stamp your receipt (so you can t use the same receipt for more than one school) and copy down the store name, date of purchase and amount spent. We do NOT need any of your personal info. If you don t need to keep your receipts, you can drop them into the Williams locker located lower level center court near the Toll House Cafe. If you need help submitting your receipt info, please contact a member of the Williams PTSA board. 8 Collin Creek Mall A+ Rewards Program Williams PTSA earns 100 bonus points for each new registration into the Collin Creek Mall Our Place database. The mall will send out 1 per month about special sales and events. You will also be registered to win a $1000 shopping spree given away each quarter. The form must be completely filled out and contain a valid address in order for us to get credit. Feel free to sign up everyone in your family age 13 and older.
