Stiegelmeyer s tables and chairs are designed to help people with restricted mobility to lead just such a life. Our furniture is designed to add a touch of sophis tication and to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere in every care or residential home. 5 Mavo A chair with character our Mavo chairs are an inviting feature in any room. Their solid beech frames make them extremely sturdy and at the same time give them very clear lines and a contemporary look. Our Mavo chairs also feature a handle as standard above the backrest, which provides a welcome extra support for residents and care staff when moving about the room. The double-coated finish of the chair allows it to easily withstand all rigours of everyday life. Mavo is available in 3 versions: with and without armrests and as a high back chair with a particularly high backrest. This makes our Mavo chairs suitable for use by people of all sizes and allows care facilities to cater to a wide range of different needs. The slightly angled armrests are extremely comfortable. All Mavo chairs can easily be stacked whenever need for more space arises. 09

7 Fena with handle Our Fena chairs have soft lines and a playful design. Both the backrest and seat are gently curved to ideally accommodate the shape of the human body. The wooden frame at the side of the backrest is covered with fabric, which makes the colour and fabric pattern really stand out. The handle at the top of the backrest has a pleasantly rounded shape and is a perfect support for residents when standing. The chair has been designed without any sharp edges and corners for added safety. Fena chairs are extremely comfortable and highly ergonomic, and are attractively elegant and unobtrusive. Fena chairs are also available in 3 different stackable versions: with and without armrests and as a high back chair with armrests. 13

9 Fena without a handle A chair with a sophisticated design that shows the colours of the chair cover to best advantage the Fena without a handle. The ergonomically curved backrest is completely covered with fabric, which gives the chair a very comfortable look. Our Fena chairs without a handle are also very good value and are available both with and without armrests. A third version, which has a high backrest and armrests, offers even greater comfort and safety. 17

11 Heavy-duty chairs It s a well-known fact that people in the West have gradually started getting taller over time. In recent years, yet another trend has made itself felt, and that is the tendency for people in developed countries to have also significantly gained in body weight. A lot of care facilities have consequently adapted their furniture to accommodate this fact. Stiegelmeyer s heavy-duty chairs are ideal for catering to these new needs. Our chairs Mavo and Fena without a handle are available with an extra wide seat and a higher safe working load of 180 kg. This allows even tall and heavy residents to enjoy the comfort and safety offered by a well-designed and attractive chair. 21

12 Tables In order to gain the full benefit of the various situations in which our chairs can be used, it is recommendable pairing them with the right table. Therefore, Stiegelmeyer offers a wide range: Bistro tables with a round top for creating a more vibrant atmosphere, dining tables that offer plenty of space and are very comfortable to eat at. Side tables and coffee tables will seamlessly blend into any room. The latest addition to our range column-leg tables feature an attractive com bi nation of metal columns and round or square wooden table tops. All of our tables are available in a choice of 10 different décors. This means that they can be designed to match your chairs and so give you maximum flexi bility when it comes to creating a welcoming space for residents. 23

13 Empero clean look with rectangular legs Optimo tables with round legs Our Empero tables will stand out in any room thanks to their solid rectangular legs. Empero tables have both a very clean design and are elegant. They are available as a large dining table (large picture), a trapezoid table (image 1), a coffee table (image 2) and a more delicate side table (image 3). Produced using high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship, these tables are made for a long service life. Our Optimo tables have been designed with round legs. This gives them an especially home-like look. However, round legs also help to protect people from injury when bumping against them.
