For camera control, connect this line to keyboard controller or DVR. t is controlled remotely from the controller through a serial connection to the RS-8 connector using a twisted-pair cable. To check the camera D, Protocol, & Baud Rate f you want to use the RS-8 remote control, the keyboard controller & camera's D address / Protocol / Baud rate must be the same. Moved the cursor to SPECA in the menu, press ENTER button to the sub menu. Then moved the cursor to RS8 function, press ENTER button to check or change the settings. Then checking the Keyboard controller's setting the same the camera's. NTE: The controller can not change the Protocol, CAM D, BAUDRATE of RS8 function. To control the D-ZM & D-ZM PAN / TT function This camera supported the D-ZM & D-ZM PAN/TT function control by using the keyboapd controller. f you want to use this function, you must to change the menu setting first. Moved the cursor to SPECA in the menu, press ENTER button to the sub menu. Then moved the cursor to RS8 function, press ENTER button. Then to change the D-ZM & PAN TT two modes to be N, and EXT the menu. Press TEE to control the D-ZM N Press WDE to control the D-ZM UT Moved the controller's joystic stick to UP/DWN/EFT/RGHT to adjust the image Pan / Tilt. NTE: f you want to use this camera with Pan/Tilt Scanner or optical zoom module, the D-ZM & PAN TT two modes in RS8 function must be FF.
