4 IMPORTANT NOTICE Powerboat Racing is a hazardous activity. Individuals must accept at, by engaging in active watersports such as Powerboat Racing, eir physical safety may be endangered. Anyone intending to participate in or become involved wi Powerboat Racing organized by NMF affiliated clubs eier as a participant, team member or oerwise does so at eir own risk. Such individuals must recognize e actual and potential risks associated wi eir involvement, including drowning, hypoermia, and oer physical injuries as well as possible dea. Participants must acknowledge at it is up to em personally to assess wheer any event or activity on e water is too difficult for em or eir crew. Individuals must acknowledge at e safety of eir boat and eir entire management, including insurance, is solely eir responsibility, and ey are satisfied at e boat and e crew are adequate to face e conditions at may arise in e course of e race. Entrants into e event acknowledge at scrutineering does not constitute a condition survey of e craft and it is solely eir responsibility to decide wheer to start or to continue in any powerboat race. They acknowledge at e efficiency of e helmets and racing vests worn is solely eir responsibility. By signing on to e event individuals agree (on acceptance of eir entry upon being permitted to take part in e meeting); (i) To where bound by e conditions of e Race Entry Form, Racing Instructions and e General Competition Rules of e UIM and e NMF. (ii) To accept e decisions of e organizing committee and officials nominated by it. (iii) To save harmless and keep indemnified: (a) The owners of e premises upon which e meeting where held. (b) The organizing club, e sponsors and e NMF and eir respective officials, servants and agents, (c) The oer boat owners, drivers, passengers or mechanics engaged in e meeting, AGAINST all actions, claims, costs, expenses and demands in respect of loss of or damage to e signatory s property or e property of his/her drivers, passengers and mechanics wheer or not such loss or damage may have been contributed to or occasioned by e negligence of e said persons or bodies, eir officials, servants, representatives or agents. THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR A TEAM S DECISION TO PARTICIPATE IN A RACE OR TO CONTINUE RACING IS THEIRS ALONE Side3

7 You will find in Advance program. Entry fee for Norwegian participants to be prepaid via e NMF homepage. Foreign participants enter e WC free. Entry for The Fjord race is free for participants of e WC. Entry fee for WC: (advanced program) Entry form in e end of is document must be used (Advance program). 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd place trophies in each of e ree races of e Championship 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd, overall World Championship trophies Gold, Silver and Bronze UIM Medals will be awarded to 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place, overall in e World Championship. Race instructions will be available at e check inn / registration. Will be available at least 45 days before e event. 8 All drivers must be properly insured, for ird party responsibility and against personal injury. Required ird party insurance is minimum NOK 10,000,000. Insurance will NOT be available from e organizer. The policy must be written in English. Request to use oer insurance must also be written in English and submitted according to U.I.M. Rules. Members of e crew of any boat under eir national age of majority must provide written evidence of parental consent to participate in any race and or practice. The minimum age of any crewmember will be 16 years. Any person aboard any boat taking part in e races and/or practice must wear an efficient life jacket (racing vest). The choice and efficiency of e jacket is e sole responsibility of e wearer (UIM Rule ) Any person aboard any boat taking part in e races and/or practice must wear an adequate helmet of orange colour. The wearer is entirely responsible for e choice and efficiency of e helmet. Each crew must be identified wi eir race number. Tobacco and alcohol advertising is not permitted by Norwegian law. The organizers will have e right to instruct e removal of any offensive material. The local organizer reserves e right to provide mandatory stickers of sponsors of e event to all participants.
