1 External (Private) Exam Candidates PLEASE NOTE: January exams in England have been scrapped by the regulator Oxford International College is an established exam centre with most exam boards, including AQA, Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), Edexcel, Edexcel International, OCR and WJEC. We can usually accept external candidates for November, January and May/June sessions, and can help with GCSE, AS and A2 exams. Most written exams are available to private candidates, whether you are home-schooled and looking for an exam centre to take your exams, or somewhere to re-take just a couple of your A-level or GCSE units. Speaking Exams/Coursework As well as written exam papers we can sometimes help with the speaking element of an exam in a modern foreign language or English too. Once we have received your exam entry form, we identify the most suitable tutor to conduct the exam and this is then confirmed with you. Generally an hour of tuition prior to the speaking test is advisable to discuss any pre-prepared topic. Our usual tuition rate is charged for this session. If you are looking for a centre to complete coursework units, then we may be able to help depending on the subject and tutor availability. Please the exams office for further information about this. 2 The Next Step If you are interested in sitting an exam at Oxford International College, please fill in our application form below and return it to the exams office along with a copy of photo identification (e.g. passport) and payment. Once we have received these we can then enter you for the exams. HAT/SAT/TSA/MAT/LNAT/ELAT Exams If you have made a university application which requires an external test such as any of the above, we can usually make provision for this. Tests such as UKCAT, BMAT and SAT are not examined here but we can offer tuition in preparation for these tests of course! Similarly, we are not an IELTS test centre but we can offer tuition to support your preparation for these tests.
