8 Fix #1: Compatibility View Compatibility view gives you access to a second renderer which behaves much like Windows Internet Explorer 7 did Internet Explorer 7 more standards compliant than Internet Explorer 6, but much less standards compliant than Internet Explorer 8 Opt into via: User-initiated button press Group policy Source code / server headers

9 Fix #2: Change the Code Implementing native compatibility with standards is typically the best solution and the most expensive and the best investment for Web sites that will be around for a while Use developer tools to understand what is broken, and modify the source directly
