Kazalo Present Simple Present Continuous Present Simple & Present Continuous Past Simple Past Continuous Past Simple & Past Continuous Stopnjevanje pridevnikov Izražanje količine Ponovitveni test Nepravilni glagoli Slovar Rešitve Hej! Živijo! Imaš težave z angleščino? No, potem je to pravi naslov zate. V drugem sklopu ti bom pojasnil, kako so sestavljene določene strukture in kako jih uporabljaš. Naloge v testih so točkovane. Malce se moraš potruditi in zagotovo bo šlo.
Preberi njun pogovor. Jack: Hi, Nina! How s Greece? Nina: Oh, it s fantastic! It s great to stay in a house near the beach. My dad s business partner rents his house, when his family isn t here on holiday. Jack: So, what do you do all day? Nina: Well, I hang around with a girl next door, Cindy. We often go to the beach together and we swim and play beach volley with other kids there. Jack: Where does she come from? Nina: She s from England. She has a beautiful dog, Keysi. He follows us everywhere. Jack: Do you have any other friends? 4 Present Simple
Nina: Yes, Alexander. He knows the island really well, because he lives here, so he shows us something new every day. Jack: What do you do in the evenings? Nina: I usually go to the town centre with my mum and dad. They buy some souvenirs or we just have some ice cream. Sometimes I play games with Alexander and Cindy or we teach Keysi new tricks. He still doesn t know how to roll over at our command. It s fun. Jack: It sounds great! Do you miss home? Nina: Well, I miss you and the others, but I don t want to go home yet. Besides, we can chat like this every day. Jack: You re right. Nina: I have to go now. I ll talk to you tomorrow. Bye. Jack: OK. Bye. 5
Tako Nina opisuje svoj dan na počitnicah. Zdaj pa si pozorno oglej obarvane besede. To so glagoli v času Present Simple. Ko Nina govori o sebi, glagolom ne doda nobene končnice: I go to the town centre. Torej: We buy some souvenirs. I play games with Alexander and Cindy. Ko pa Nina govori o Alexandru, očetovem poslovnem partnerju, prijateljici Cindy in psu Keysi, pa glagolom doda končnico -s. Keysi follows us everywhere. Alexander knows the island really well. He shows us something new every day. Zdaj pa si oglejva še rdeče obarvane nikalne oblike. Opaziš lahko besedi don t in doesn t. Uporabiš ju, kadar glagol zanikaš, in sicer uporabiš obliko doesn t pri 3. osebi ednine (he, she in it), obliko don t pa pri vseh ostalih osebah. Takole: I don t want to go home yet. He doesn t know how to roll over at our command. Don t in doesn t sta pravzaprav le okrajšavi za do not in does not. Krajši obliki uporabljaš v govoru in kadar si dopisuješ s prijatelji. 6 Present Simple
Še ena barva nama je ostala zelena. Z njo so označene vprašalne oblike. V teh pa do in does postaviš pred osebek: Do you have any friends? Does he live on the island? What do you do all day? Where does she come from? Kratki odgovori so sestavljeni iz besede Yes ali No, za katero stoji vejica, nato pa sledita še osebni zaimek in do ali does: Yes, I do. No, we don t. Yes, he does. No, she doesn t. Pazi! Poglej: She comes from England. osnovna oblika glagola She doesn t come form Greece. Where does she come from? Še nekaj morava povedati. Ugotovila sva, da imajo glagoli v 3. osebi ednine končnico -s. Vendar pa ima lahko ta končnica različne oblike: -es -ies Pri glagolih na -sh, -ch, -s in -o pred končnico -s vrineš črko e. wash he washes miss she misses catch it catches do she does cry she cries study he studies fly it flies Pazi! play he plays Pri glagolih na -y je končnica -ies, vendar samo, če -y stoji za soglasnikom. V teh primerih pogosto uporabiš tudi časovne izraze, kot so: always, usually, often, sometimes, never every day/week/year/holiday once/twice/three times a day/week/year Tako, mislim, da sva povedala vse, kar moraš vedeti o času Present Simple. 7
å Poveži angleške izraze s slovenskimi ustreznicami. 1. I get up at 7 in the morning. 2. She reads a book every week. 3. Do you always make your bed? 4. We often watch TV in the evening. 5. I play beach volley with my friends. 6. I do my homework after school. 7. He has breakfast with his mum and dad. 8. She doesn t go to school by bicycle. 9. 9 é Izberi glagol, ga postavi v pravilno obliko in vstavi v pravo poved. Å open buy bake smell steal É Ñ Ç Ö 1. Mr Sweety bakes fresh bread every morning. 2. It delicious. 3. The bakery at 7 o clock. 4. The neighbours cat sometimes a pretzel. 5. Kate always a doughnut before school. è Poveži glagole na levi z izrazi na desni in dopolni spodnje povedi. Alice has breakfast at 7 o clock, usually a bowl of cereals or toast with jam. 2. After school I in the park. 3. Before mum and dad go to work, they to see the news. 4. Dopolni vprašanja in napiši kratke odgovore. get up early play with the dog go to school sleep during the day Kate Mr Sweety Jan and Nina the cat Zdaj pa pazi na do in does.
