4 UPON YOUR JOINING Following documents must be submitted: Proof of Age(SSC Certificate/Birth Certificate/Passport) Proof of Identity(Voter s ID Card/Passport/Driving License) Address Proof(Ration Card/Telephone Bill/Electricity Bill) Copy of Academic and Experience certificates 2 recent passport size photographs &1stamp sized photograph. Copy of driving license if applicable Blood Group report

5 PROBATION & CONFIRMATION You will be on probation for a period of 6months from your date of joining. Your Confirmation will take place based on your technical capabilities, Work out put and cultural fit as assessed. Where deemed necessary by your Manager, your probation period May be extended by a letter in writing.

6 UNIFORM The company will provide you uniforms as mandated by Volkswagen India. It will be compulsory to come to work wearing your uniform on all working days. If the employee leaves the organization within six months of joining, then the cost of the uniform will be recovered from the employee.

7 ATTENDANCE POLICY It is mandatory for all employees to register their attendance through the Biometric Attendance Recorder installed at all locations. Location HR personnel will assist you in this regard. As a matter of discipline Shaman expects all the employees to report to work on time. Occasionally, In the event of your not being able to reach office on time,you are expected to inform your supervisor about the same.

8 WORKING HOURS The working hours for all units at all locations of Shaman shall be: Monday through Saturday: 9.30am to 6.00pm (for workshops) 9.30am to 6.30pm (for showrooms) Lunch: Staggered between 01.00pm to pm

9 PUNCTUALITY Grace time of 10 minutes per day is allowed to all employees. After the grace period of 10minutes up to one hour from the appointed time, employees will be treated as latecomers. There will be a deduction of halfday s salary for every late coming after three late comings in summer and winter and after five late comings in monsoon season (July to September).

10 TIME OFFICE The entire process is automated through Shaman Konnect Our HRMS- The HR Executive will explain this to new Joinees. All the confirmed employees are eligible for 30 days of Privilege Leave,for every Completed year of service. At the end of the probation period every employee is credited with 15 days of leave. However Employees should take prior Permission for every leave from their Departmental heads. Employees are not permitted to avail any leave with pay during probation.

11 TIME OFFICE (Cont d) Weekly Off: Shaman observes Sundays as its weekly holiday. However, owing to the nature of our business it is necessary to keep the Showroom open on Sundays which will be duly compensated. Early Going/Late Entry & Travel Reimbursement Policy: Policy about early going or going out on duty is available with your location HR executive. Travel Reimbursement Policy is also available with the HR Executive.

12 COMPENSATION POLICY FOR OFF DAY WORKING (Automated through Shaman Konnect) For all employees at showrooms & workshops one day compensatory off will be permitted in lieu of working on weekly off or other declared holidays. Incase of certain categories at all the workshops of Shaman, one day s salary will be paid in lieu of working on weekly off or other declared holidays. Payment will be made for extra working on Sundays and holidays at the statutory rate of wages.

14 WELFARE SCHEMES Trump card holiday: All employees are allowed one additional day holiday every year on a day that is important to him/her. Car for staff marriage: On the day of his/her wedding, a car with driver and fuel is assigned for use by the employee. Chocolate box on birthday: On the day of his/her birthday, a chocolate box is gifted to the employee.

15 DISCIPLINARY ACTION Shaman follows an inclusive and informal style of Management where cross hierarchical communication is encouraged. However our basic values guide our policy on Discipline and we follow a structured system which includes oral/written warnings and final notices before formal disciplinary action is initiated. Non negotiable misconducts include sexual harassment at workplace, financial impropriety, wilful insubordination and violence/unruly Behavior inside the premises.

16 SALARY & INCREMENT Salary is paid to all employees on 7 th of every month,as per Payment of Wages Act. (Incase of a holiday falling on that day, salary is paid a day in advance). Increment is effected after completion of one year. Annual increments shall be inaccordance with the scale of pay fixed for each category of employees/workmen at the discretion of the management. Increment is not automatic but will depend one mployees performance on job,workplace conduct,attitude,cooperation etc. Performance will be assessed through a measured performance appraisal system. All can view their YTD performance on Shaman Konnect.

17 NO SMOKING HOUSE KEEPING Shaman offices offices. Are no-smoking Smoking within the office premises is strictly prohibited. Shaman would like to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in its premises. This is not possible without the active involvement and co operation of all. PLEASE EXTEND YOUR CO-OPERATION

18 TRAINING Shaman has an in-house training department to provide training to all its employees. Training programmes are conducted at regular intervals. On the job training is provided by the Company at the company premises. Employees are given interim increases in salary upon completion of the Certification Program. If any employee leaves the organization within ONE year after receiving the training from our principals,then the cost of training will be recovered from the employee.

19 BRING YOUR SHAMAN When any particular position is advertised,internal Referral incentives will be paid upon selection and joining of the candidate for the advertised position only. Referral incentive is paid according to: Rs.1000 per candidate when a candidate joins the company Rs.9000 per candidate after the candidate completes six months with the company
