8 HOLD Platform: XK05 Rev.: Programming Type For Toyota Lexus vehicles. Non Push-to-Start Vehicles When the module is plugged in, the LED will turn and stay. Insert a valid key into the ignition switch. Once the key is inserted, the LED on the module will flash quickly and will then turn, indicating that it has been successfully programmed. Push-to-Start Vehicles 5 Open the OEM remote, remove the circuit board and remove the battery. Verify that there is no other OEM remote near the vehicle, then place the circuit board agains the Push-to-Start button. When the module is plugged in, the LED will turn and stay. Press and hold the Push-to-Start button. The LED will start flashing to indicate that the module is in learning mode. The LED will turn once the module is programmed. Release the Push-to-Start button and reassemble the remote. To reset the module, you will need to re-flash it first. 9 Programming Type For Ford Mazda vehicles. Rev.: Page 9 You will need valid keys to program the module in Ford Mazda vehicles. Additional step for vehicles equipped with a SmartKey: 5 Remove keys from all SmartKeys and keep the cards away from the vehicles. Remove the cap from the ignition switch. When the module is plugged in, the LED will turn and stay. if the LED turns solid red for seconds and then turns, the module is already programmed. Insert the first valid key into the ignition switch and turn it to the position until the security light turns. Remove the first valid key. Wait for seconds following step. Insert the second valid key into the ignition switch and turn it to the position until the security light turns. Remove the second valid key. Wait for 5 seconds following step. Automatic transmission: Remote start the vehicle using the transmitter. Manual transmission: Apply the Brown wire (-) GWR to ground and the (+) V to the vehicle s ignition wire using a jumper wire. The LED will turn once the module is programmed. Remove the jumper wire if applicable. To reset the module, you will need to re-flash it first.
