16 CombiControl is a heat pump control by mobile phone CombiControl is designed to work with Toshiba air to air heat pumps*: Daiseikai 3 Daiseikai 5 Daiseikai 6 Suzumi + AvAnt Console UFW KRT XT *Supported model range may be even wider depending on the remote control code. CombiControl enables easily to adjust and control main functions of a heat pump. CombiControl can inform about low room temperature, power failures and service intervals. 29 Product Features 1. Electrical box Integrated design giving the following advantages: Easy access for unit installation / maintenance Reduced installation time No need to install separate DX kit Easier installation DN Codes factory set (Cooling Mode removed) Reduced installation costs the electrical supply for the air curtain is taken from the CDU (no need for additional electrical supplies) 2. Manufacturing techniques A nitrogen (N 2 ) purge is used for all brazing activities associated with the manufacture of the Toshiba air curtain. The N 2 purge improves braze quality on the heat exchanger and reduces the potential of contamination in the refrigeration cycle 3. Product testing Comprehensive performance and reliability testing, completed by Toshiba EMEA, to optimise the performance of the air curtain with the existing Toshiba LC range of outdoor units. The project was overseen by Toshiba Japan.

30 Product Features (cont 1) 4. 3 Speed fan control High, medium and low fan speeds available on the Toshiba air curtain. This allows the end user to change the air volume of the air curtain depending on site conditions. The fan motors used in the Air Curtain comply with ErP 2013 (Commission Regulation (EU) No 327/2011). 5. Defrost tray A defrost tray will be fitted to all Toshiba air curtains. During defrost cycles the Fan Motors continue to operate. Any moisture collected in the defrost tray evaporates when heating resumes. 6. Flare Nut Fittings The Air Curtains are fitted with Flare Nuts to enable easy installation.

31 Product Features (cont 2) 7. CE approval The Toshiba air curtains will be supplied with CE Approval. The Declaration of Conformity will be displayed in the product literature 8. Multi language literature A multi language CD and a printed English manual will be supplied with each Toshiba air curtain. The manual will contain all details necessary for installing and operating the air curtain correctly 9. Custom air curtain builds Custom builds (different chassis colours, e box orientation etc) may be available depending on the complexity of the change request. Bespoked revolving door solutions are possible. Please contact us to discuss your custom requirements.
