Project Director "Beyond the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)" - a statewide training initiative funded through the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. As a part of this project, funded for three years, I researched and wrote two technical assistance guides for community colleges to enable them to better serve students with disabilities. In January of 1994, I organized and conducted a statewide ADA conference in Austin for counselors and other staff of Community Colleges. Participants, the staff of the Coordinating Board, and other state agency staff that were involved evaluated this conference as excellent East Texas State University at Texarkana Ad Interim Faculty- Special Education Department The University of Texas Austin, Texas Adjunct Faculty- Special Education and Rehabilitation Department Taught graduate and undergraduate courses.
