These instructor-led, online learning opportunities will allow you to grow your confidence and ability with athenanet functionality, without leaving the office. Our virtual trainings are scheduled on a quarterly basis, and can be registered for through the Learning Portal just as you would for an in-person Classroom. In-person athenacare Classroom Training: athenacare Classroom is conducted in state-of-the-art training centers, equipped with computer classrooms. This course will coach your practice manager or team leads on document workflow, encounter overview, clinical admin tables with a focus on encounter layouts, template modification techniques, task assignment overrides, and encounter build. The training includes interactive exercises to enhance your ability to share the knowledge you gain with the whole practice. This training is designed for providers who are experienced with athenaclinicals (6 months or more experience) and eager to optimize their encounters. Attendees will be able to apply their new skills by building their own report during the training session. At each break in content, attendees will demonstrate that block of training for the class, in essence delivering their own mini-sessions. This course will prepare individuals responsible for managing their organization s on-boarding and training processes. 6 Clinical Training Boot Camp athenacare Classroom and the Client Support Center (CSC) have teamed up to offer you this two-day training and coaching opportunity, geared toward practice and clinical team leaders. Clinical Training Boot Camp will teach you to better manage your clinical inbox, streamline the five stage patient visit and align practice roles for optimized workflow, and improve use of athenacommunicator to boost patient engagement. Participants will also have time for one-on-one coaching with an athenanet expert. This 2-hour session will focus on the Exam section within athenaclinicals, and on creating accelerators to assist in optimizing your time within the patient encounter. An athenaclinicals expert will walk attendees through the exam section, and show you how to create accelerators to assist in decreasing the time spent within the encounter. At the end of the session, attendees will be able to create their own accelerators, and apply the accelerators within a patients visit. This training includes an overview of the athenacollector business model, critical workflows, and client contribution to practice results. Emphasis is placed on core athenacollector concepts. Attending this course will help you drive better organizational and cultural alignment with the athenacollector co-sourcing business model and service specification. Participants will also receive an athenacollector check-up for key metrics from their own practices. Intake & Document Management for MA s & RN s (Virtual only) Do you struggle with navigating within the Intake section, and managing tasks in your Clinical Inbox? An optimized workflow can make a big difference in the efficiency of your daily tasks. This virtual session will help you improve your navigation and updating of sections within a patient encounter, plus managing clinical documents. The course will cover the stages of Pre-visit workflow, Check-in, Intake, Exam and Checkout. Topics covered will provide you with tools helpful in reconciling athenanet data to your general ledger. Patient Responsibility A/R Management (Virtual only) In athenahealth s co-sourcing relationship, there are tasks that belong to each practice, tasks that belong to athenahealth, and tasks that are shared. The management of self-pay balances is the responsibility of the practice. However, athenanet provides tools that will streamline these processes. This class is designed to highlight the self-pay management tools available in athenanet, such as Payment Plans, Credit Card Contracts, Sliding Fee Scales, Posting Adjustments, and more.
